I'm wondering if they're going away from the idea of having a guy merely to clog things since that didn't help with the run defense - at least not in preventing explosive runs.
Yeah, that's my assumption. They'll be employing a more aggressive front.

Now get a big, fat developmental NT in the 6th to be the run stopper in 1-2 years.
It is a position of depth this year so it's possible... at least somewhere in the draft. Right now the only thing that scares me about our roster is CB and Tackle depth.

Rams have been busier than I expected this offseason. Solved the issue with Stafford. Re-signed AJ to a 3 year deal. Re-signed Tutu to a one year deal. Same with Jimmy G. Now Poona Ford. They're reporting the Rams are interested in Dre Greenlaw. The offense looks good. The defense is getting better. I'm pretty sure when they talk top NFC teams the Rams are in that mix.

I was hoping for a Chevrolet but a Ford will have to do!

I remember Poona Ford being a nightmare against the Rams when he was with Seattle.
Rams organization must remember, too.

He originally committed to Louisville but when Charlie Strong left for the Texas job he followed him so I've never been a fan but I am happy he's playing for my team now

He's spent last couple weeks being quite passive aggressive about how the Rams have misused him and not given him enough chances. etc. Figured he was gone regardless at that point.
Was this in relation to last season? Bc he had his best season as a Ram. If he was talking in regards to his use in Morris's system, that makes more sense.

Frankly didn't expect much off-season work along the DL. But a run-stuffing FA would be a welcome addition...

This is huge and gives the Rams flexibility in the draft. I hope we can bring back Hoecht.

This D is gonna be nasty.

Absolutely LOVE the Rams offseason so far. Let the Kool-Aid flow!!!

Stafford, Alaric, Jonah trade, Davante, Coleman, Poona, Jimmy G, even Tutu... EVERY single move has been well thought-out and fills a hole of need.

I'm reluctantly ok with releasing or trading Kupp ... they didn't come to that decision lightly.

By the end of FA and the draft, rams will have ZERO holes and SEVERAL areas of real strength. Rams should be in a position to challenge for the #1 seed.

Rams are absolutely set up for a strong SB run in 2025, and probably 2026 as well.

KOOL-AID!!!!!!

Absolutely LOVE this.

A legitimate run stuffer who is a monster.

Great replacement and improvement from BB3.

I didnt mind BB3 until all his Twitter BS. Love that the Rams made a big improvement and BB3 had it unintentionally threw in his face.
