Was this in relation to last season? Bc he had his best season as a Ram. If he was talking in regards to his use in Morris's system, that makes more sense.

It seemed pretty current with the way he was talking but I don't know. His main consternation seemed to be the Rams treating him as only a run down defender. Says he is more than that and was annoyed by media/social media labeling him as such in the lead up to free agency. Oh well, he's a Panther now.

Ford was a four-year starter for the Seahawks before playing with the Bills and Chargers the past two years. He is a stout 1st/2nd down run-defender.

Personally, I root hard for a man that's 5'11" and 310 lbs (which I am guessing is an under-statement).

Yeah, that was his draft weight.
He is closer to 340 now.

I LOVE this signing.
I have been a big defender for B Brown. His play improved this year and he had a significant role in the Rams Run D improving as the year went on.
All that said, Puna in a significant upgrade in my opinion.
He handles the double team well, and had a high double team rate, he really plays the run well but still had a good pass rush pressure rate. Having a guy who can hold the point of attack and handle double teams will really help Turner and Fiske do their thing.

Bobby Brown might have better upside,but The Rams know what there getting here in Puna.
