I was never really in on Brown. Then he whines about being called just a run stuffer.

In 2024 he had 230 pass rushes for 0 sacks and only 3 pressures. Bruh you are just a run stuffer.

Poona is an obvious improvement. He looks like a rolling ball of butcher knives. Ironically will be wearing 95 for the Rams.

If you get a chance, watch the Davante video with Jourdan where she talks about who Rams might sign (they hadn't gotten Ford yet) on Dline.

Basically, she thought Bobby may not have fit with new line coach, they may want a more veteran presence on the line, and they were missing a consistent NT who could stop the run. She talks like this (prob not ILB) is their answer to stopping the run next season and in the playoffs. She also mentioned that they may attack run stuffing DT still in the draft.

Bet they do still draft a DT but maybe not early.

I could see a veteran presence being better, and more maturity.

Last few weeks on X showed BB3 was immature and annoying as hell n

Great signing. Still need a backer that can fill the hole and excel in coverage. He'll have to come from the draft now, though.
Not much left in FA that isn't old and slow now. I'm sure glad that B-Wags signed elsewhere. He hasn't been it for 3 years now.

Thinking it might be time for the Rams to spend a little draft capital on ILB and might grab two

Poona Ford, DT, Rams (3 years, $27.6M)

The Rams’ young defense showed a lot of promise later in this past season, ranking seventh in expected points added per play (-0.06) over the final four weeks of the regular season, according to TruMedia. However, they were a below average defense when factoring in their full-season results with a clear need to improve their run defense.
In comes Poona Ford from the Chargers, who has been a fantastic run plugger for every team he’s been a part of. The Rams defense ranked 23rd in defensive success rate versus the run (41%) and 30th in stuff rate (15.3%). Ford will immediately improve their run defense, allowing the rest of their defensive line to play to their strengths, which is largely being upfield penetrators.
