I hope Murchison isn't badly hurt. He and Hoecht have stepped up in a real way and have provided insurance for our injured starters.

Agree on hoping Murchison's injury is minor, ... I'm very happy they're both under contract for 2023 and they'll be returning as valuable depth players.

Either way, the defensive line has stepped up in a huge way. Even guys like Earnest Brown IV showed up on defensive snaps. We're ridiculously deep, even if we lose one or both of Robinson and Gaines (although I'd pay through the nose to retain Gaines).

IMO a big part of what we're seeing with the DL is the Henderson effect. He's a fantastic coach. Dude consistently gets the most from whatever he's got in the room. It's to the point where I'd be almost afraid to promote him but he definitely deserves it.

That's part of the reason I hope Raheem Morris is hired as a head coach by someone; Henderson more than deserves a promotion to defensive coordinator.

Well, if you get one of your Christmas wishes. Morris is promote to say a Assistant HC & then The Rams would probably promote Henderson?

Evero didn’t look to good as a DC today. Was the good or bad for The Rams. How bad of a trade was the Russell Wilson trade?
Pete Carroll is LOL to the bank. Then he must think wow, only if we kept Bobby Wagner. WTF were we thinking, glad they stubbed him from making The Pro Bowl. That would have made us look really bad & the reason why The Freakung Hags won’t make the playoffs.

Seeing a lot of these guys getting an extended audition is one positive in this shit season.
Brown hasn't impressed me, and that bums me out.

I wonder if Murchison is a guy who can stick? He was a decent athlete coming out. You're gonna lose either or both of Gaines and Robinson.. so, finding some cheap depth that might be able to play is a big win.

He'll stick for 2023 as he's under contract, whether it be on the regular roster or on the practice squad is the real question.

Kind of embarrassing that at family christmas with a bunch of other team fans getting to watch the Rams obliterate the Broncos and when Murchison makes the first sack I get asked "Nice, who's that?" and I have to reply "I.... uh, I have no fucking clue." Lol, people questioning my fandom. I told them there's no way they could keep track of every rando that's graced a Rams uniform this season.

But I know his name now. :)

He had himself a game. Signed off another team's practice squad to multiple sacks of Russell Wilson.

I saw that not only did he get Lewis’ number but he came close to matching his career sack numbers.

Over the years, it been rare that people have ever questioned my fandom, but when they do, I ask them who they root for and then ask them a question about that team.

Last guy that did that was a Detroit Lion fan and I asked him who was the Lions 3rd string QB back in 1973? When he hesitated I quipped "Bill Cappleman." and then said when you can answer questions like that, you can question me...I also added he was traded to Washington for Sam Wyche in 1974, but then I was just having fun.
