I wonder if Reich dislikes DJax. He knows him and DJax is a fit to install in that offense and play immediately. Colts have a strong offense on the ground and could use a weapon in the pass game.

Gotta figure that's a high percentage destination IF Reich doesn't hate him and his personality.

Oh and re: the Texans they still run the EP scheme which Cooks already knew when we flipped him to them. Guy as old as DJax isn't gonna want to reboot his nomenclatures unless he picked it up somewhere in his travels which I don't recall. So Texans are unlikely.

I’m not convinced that DJax is gone
It would be nice if he'd just stfu and pout on the bench the rest of the way. Having him in reserve just in case is best scenario.

it sounds like things are amicable for now. He wants to play, I don’t blame him. Lets just get him some targets

I wish we could swap him for a return man.

Part of what is so irritating is that he is a return man. But there's no way he wants to get out there when he sees the way this teams unit blocks. We have the shittiest return unit in the league in terms of space to run for a returner. Every punt it's a free for all down the field with guys in their lanes smothering opportunity.

So idk if even a returner who's in the zone right now would return well for us. Going forward the Rams need to fix that and also get someone going as a returner.

Not sure DJax was ever onboard... and he always struck me as an Aaron Rodgers type of prima donna. Good riddance if he goes.

Another reason if Tutu is done I vote for giving Koski a chance at both return jobs. Not to sound harsh but we need someone returning kicks that we're not too concerned about the well being of... unlike Kupp who makes me cringe every time I see him back there. Our return team blocking is shit.

I also suspect he came in remembering the McVay who was a TE coach. He probably thought they'd be on a first name basis and be all tight and shit. But none of that is gonna guarantee you shit on this team.

We need to get a kick and punt returner Wr off of someone's practice squad. Also.. Harris should be a big Wr instead of a small TE

Skowrenk is going to be a weapon. His mechanics look natural and he's learning from 2 of the best if not THE best YAC receivers in the game.
I think I'm seeing what your seeing with Sko.
He seems to have a knack .......... so far.

I'm not sure Koski will be anything in the receiving game but he does have some return experience in college. Nothing crazy but he at least has returned kicks and punts at some point in his life. I don't think we have anyone else on our squad who has and I don't think Trishton ever has either. So if Tutu is out I would like to see if Koski can be the return guy at the very least.

As far as Skow, dude made me a believer this week. He's not the fastest dude but neither is Kupp. But like Kupp, he showed he's a football player with some heads up yac and nice receptions. Harris is so damn raw so I'm not expecting much of him this season but I don't mind sprinkling him in to get seasoned this year and unleashing him next. Hopefully we stay healthy enough that Harris doesn't have to be relied on heavily because he's not ready for it.
Even if Koski is a below average return man, it would be an improvement on what we have had so far. Im all for giving him a shot.

Hope you're right, but IMHO it's still "probable" that he's gone.

In his press conference a couple days ago, McVay sure sounded like "that ship has sailed" and that the Rams had accepted that it was necessary to move on. When asked whether there was any chance DJAx could remain if no trade partners were found, McVay gave a curt response, something like "We'll give you more information about that at some other time," or something to that effect.

When asked about DJax today, McVay blew by the question as fast a possible, only saying "No update on that."

As a fan, I sure wish DJax could stay around as quality insurance in case of injury to any of the top 3. But unfortunately maybe DJax is being such a whiner behind the scenes that it's just not acceptable to keep him around.

Also-- much as we'd like to think that giving DJax the PR job might help soothe his ego, unfortunately I believe his contract terms are completely dependent on the percentage of snaps on offense, not special teams. So if DJax is griping about money, more reps as a PR won't help his contract situation.

If I had to guess, I'd predict the Rams find a trade partner for DJax at the very last minute sometime tomorrow morning. Really sucks to see such a talented guy go, just too bad DJAx is not a team player.
