Hope they have cap space left.
It will require an elite team around him to ever get a Lombardi
Let's see him with Jeff Fisher -lol.Let's see him with Harbaugh

Conclusion = One will wear a gold jacket and one will not..............................
Herbert plays defense? Why is it then that Herbert can put up ridiculous regular season numbers, but gets a pass when his team loses a win-and-in/lose-and-go-home game (against the Raiders of all teams), and the next year his team loses a wild-card playoff game after building a huge lead? The Chargers losing those two games can't all be chalked up to organization. There were in those positions with a chance to move on both times, and in neither of those cases were they facing some obviously superior opponent. As I said, if you are honest, you will admit you would rake Goff over the coals if his teams came up short in the same situation.
Those were the two biggest games of Herbert's career, he had a chance to be a difference maker in both, and wasn't. At what point is it on him to be a difference maker in those games and get his team over the hump?
Its amazing how still people want to minimize his achievements.
Man, that sunrise comment went a looooong way
This is where evaluating throws over results matters.i hate to do this because it should never be about goff vs stafford but you forced me to do it.
in their last meeting stafford couldn't get in done in the redzone when he needed to. goff needed 2 1st downs to ice the game and he got them both times by passing the ball. it seems he wasn't so deer in the headlights there.
.
Herbert plays defense?
The idea that Goff lead them to relevance is doing some HEAVY lifting here.he has led two down and out franchises back to relevance and yet he was only along for the ride.
i'm not sure that's how the nfl works.
any weakness is brutally exposed by the opposition. there's nowhere to hide.
it doesn't hurt to give him his props. there's no need to still be butthurt because he wasn't as good as you wanted him to be.
.
I think it’s funny that we say something like that to argue in favor of a QB who had the Super Bowl performance Goff did.no he plays qb and when the game is on the line he plays it poorly.

They all have something in common… none have won a Super Bowl..
some of you guys make me laugh.
sure you can say goff isn't elite like stafford. nobody is gonna argue that fact.
but to put up names like dak, derpert, love and lamar jackson is laugable.
what has lamar jackson ever done in the playoffs? he's a flat track bully, that's it. and derpert? fuck me that guy is useless when the game is on the line.
and dak? hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it's ok to defend QB's who aren't good enough in the playoffs to even get to one? You got itI think it’s funny that we say something like that to argue in favor of a QB who had the Super Bowl performance Goff did.
The extremes are what make this conversation end up in stupid town.prime example number 1.
yeah, he was only along for the ride.
.
He was fine in the NFC Championship game.. one TD and an 83 rating.yeah he was awful in the superbowl but he was nails in the championship game in the most hostile environment i've ever seen.
when derpert can do that get back to me.

And… again… looking at QBs without considering the coaching and personnel is just silly.
