Memo to Mr. Watson–Be sure your sin will find you out. The Eastern proverb is true of crimes as well as curses: “Curses, like chickens, always come home to roost

Another proverb to live by : "The good hand of solitaire will ease your burden".

I'm having trouble believing Watson isn't guilty of all of this. Here's why.

I've talked with a few of my friends who were professional athletes since this came out. I asked them about getting massages knowing that all pro teams provide this as a free service to their players. I know this well because a friend of mine was the massage therapist for the Buffalo Bills and the Orlando Magic. She was basically required to be available 365 days a year for the players. The teams make this service available to their players FOR FREE 365 days of the year.

One of my friends told me that he would get a massage from the team's therapist at least 250 days out of every year. Not once did he ever consider getting a massage from someone other than the team therapist. Not just because he got it for free... but because the teams have the best in the business employed for their players. However... the main reason he would never go outside of the team therapist for a service like this is because of not wanting to put himself in a situation where he could be victimized. Pro players are all schooled on protecting themselves from predators and putting themselves in compromising positions. That schooling starts almost immediately after they are brought into any league as a new pro athlete. Athletes know better than to put themselves into a situation like Watson did. Especially when you read through the various places that he went to receive these messages. He definitely wasn't looking for a massage.

I also find it interesting that he seems to always find these massage therapists on Instagram. I find that very interesting because Instagram is about pictures. The visual was what he was shopping for using that particular platform.

My friend who is a massage therapist and still works for the Magic has told me some funny stories. None of them involved this kind of inappropriate behavior though... and that makes complete sense when you think about how a player would behave with team employees. She would even go to many of the player's homes to give them the massages. Players know better.

Watson knew exactly what he was looking for.

So suppose that he was - in fact - looking for happy endings. And further suppose that these girls gave them willingly and do so when the money is right. Then a lawyer comes along with a payday opportunity - or maybe even blackmail. (You go along with this, or I'll expose you as a prostitute). Is he still guilty? Maybe as a John - but not sexual assault, right?

Do they go after women who falsely accuse? Just wondering. What does the state, local even federal govt do.

Probably not a fucking thing. But I am curious for those who might know.

Typically, no. They can, but they generally don't.

yeah.... the stories all look very believable also - they are similar but have variation.

I want to say I can't believe he was that stupid-- but his alleged behavior goes beyond stupid - its creepy shit.

He could have found happy endings very easily. And I mean he could have found "sure thing" happy endings very easily. Just see Kraft Whack N Cheese. Those places are literally everywhere. You don't go into a situation like that just hoping it might happen... you make sure it's a sure thing first. It's easily negotiated for both parties involved. In fact... a person providing that particular kind of service would be very descriptive on the price of all services offered... especially when they know they are dealing with a multimillionaire. Those are the kind of clients they hope to find... mini cash cows for them.

I pass no judgment on anyone who offers those kind of services or the people who pay for those services. Now there are obviously laws against it here... but again... it's extremely easy to find for anyone who wants it. Especially if you have the kind of money Watson does.

This could be a shakedown by these women and the attorney. That's a possibility. Nobody has been found guilty of anything here at this point.

This is a civil case though... and that kind of case is MUCH easier to win.

All I'm saying here is that I don't believe that these ladies are fabricating these stories. It's going to be easy to provide communications from Watson to these ladies from Instagram. And when you look at what I had to say about how pro athletes have free access to massage therapy 365 days a year from the best in the biz. Man... a solid attorney could literally CLEAN UP in civil case like this. Easily.

Watson put himself in these compromising situations for a reason. Pro Athletes, especially an NFL starting QB of his caliber, know better than to put themselves into situations like this. They 100% know better.

I am guessing if this was Ben Rothilsberger or any similar type QB, that QB would be getting fried and villified by the sports media. Yet, with DeShaun they are being very patient and understand as to not jump the gun. A strange, yet somehow not a surprising dynamic in this day & age... Just say'in.

Multiple women accused Ben of rape, and it hasn't hindered the dude's career, outside of the suspension he served. So I'll have to disagree with that guess.

Different era, though.

I don't agree with Philly (I don't care about differences; Watson deserves every bad thing he's gonna get), but Roethlisberger's crimes were in a different time; were it in the Me-Too era, he'd likely be out of the NFL.
