The only thing galactically stupid is comments like this. McVay wont get fired if we finish 32nd in defense for the next 3 years. Did he hand pick Morris? Yes he did..and if our defense continues to play as it has through 4 games you can bet your ass Morris is gone after this season. But all the McVay hate gets way too fucking out of control around here. We are 3-1 and just lost to the best team in the NFL right now. Get a grip.If our defense is so bad after being #1 last year, then Sean McVay must be fired. HE hired Raheem Morris and if that hire was galactically stupid, then how does he escape blame?
Sarcasm, bruh. Be careful who you call “galactically stupid” when you didn’t fully comprehend the meaning of the whole post. The only thing galactically stupid is comments like this. If I wasn’t I would have done things in youth that would position me as Jeff Bezos neighbor with the nicer house…..
Remember Miami and the Jets last year. There are no guaranteed wins.We have the Giants, Lions and Houston coming up.....that’ll fix those stats.

It is a 99 type year....This defense is bad. But there is still plenty of time to tune it up.
Going into this season I was hoping for a '99 type year. This won't be that. But maybe they'll be the team that puts it all together and runs through the playoff field.
Just fix the secondary and contain first. Then start working Jones in and try to have him ready for the playoffs. Plenty of time to get this thing right.
No. The Beginning of defensive improvement and greatness! This season it was said that Rams are ‘all in’ to win the SB.
Ummmmm…
This Morris D does not look anything like a SB worthy D.
The End
If he doesn't improve significantly I think he'll be gone before the end of the season. There is no way the Rams will accept a bottom third defense this year.A hard landing is expected by this fan. I think DC Morris will not change much & will continue as is. I have very little hope in him at this time
You are way more optimistic about Jones than I am. Seeing him in preseason, it didn’t appear to me he had the athleticism to be an NFL starter. But you never know. This defense is bad. But there is still plenty of time to tune it up.

Definitely missing JJ3 and Thrill, which I mentioned in a previous post. Rapp and Long are cheap replacements, pay and skill-wise. Rapp had a decent rookie season but had regressed these last 2 years. Had a few good tackles in the first 3 games but is still getting consistently blown by in coverages. Long had a nice pick in the first game vs Bears but has become the whipping boy now that Hill has gone, and rightly so.I had them still finishing in the top 10 this year. Seems optimistic now. Enough of a sample size to start drawing some conclusions.
Morris is a marked man on here. McVay knew his schemes and concepts when he hired him, and if he didn't, he would've picked up on it when they worked together all offseason and training camp. Plus Morris reviews his defensive gameplan with the HC every week.
Yeah, I'd have preferred Staley stay here but that was never an option, we all knew he was a goner. And even if he was here, I doubt he'd be getting 2020 results. John Johnson was a big loss. Very versatile, very smart, and quick to diagnose what the other offense was doing. Other QBs had a hard time fooling him. And Troy Hill, fan whipping boy but played well his last year here. We have not adequately compensated for their absence.
