Bonifay, that was one of Wade's halftime adjustments. He added a DB (Christian) and put Talib on J Cook instead of a LB.

Raiders didn't score in 2nd half.
Yes Sir buuba, Marqui Christain's thinks he is a LB in a strong safetybody. One of those hybrid types that Wade collects. If MC can get his burrs under control he may be a very solid DB in our rotational DB's. Fact is he has past former starting DB's like Sheilds, Countess & Troy Hill never saw the field last night on the regular defense just ST's. Think on that . We see now what Wade wants in his DB's last year he was stuck with what was here. Basically MC replaced Ramik Wilson @ his Interior LB'ing spots. Cory Littleton played every defensive snap.

Some further thoughts on the Demby release. Rams still have three 2018 OTC/TV & preseason signed Ram OL'ers hanging out in WWC club house....RT Lucas, Swing OT Williams & OG Jake Eldrenkamp. So IF we have a problem they can be resigned back to take/replace Demby spot. But still I thought that Jeremiah Kolone played well for a rookie UDFA Kolone can play both posts Brown & Saffold.

I was very impressed with OG Austin (Dinky) Blythe perfromance last night. Consistent, SMART & sucessfull making all the blocks. I like Brown but I not so sure that Brown can give Goff the same pass blocking that was needed last night. I not so sure Brown gets his starting job back like most think. Not a bad problem for Kromer to have. Blythe was born to play in Kromers ZBS.

One more thing with what Blythe brought to the starting OL....he releived Saffold of his duties working with Sullivan & Goff ensuring the snap happens as ordered by Goff. Last season Saffold had this duty.

That's the weird thing about O lineman.

Sometimes physically capable guys who got mediocre or bad coaching don't reach there ability until later.

6 rounders don't usually end up being starters percentage-wise that often anyway.

Exactly, you may just have yourself the next Greg Robinson... ohh wait... let me re-think that!

I really believe the signing of Evan Boehm was the reason the Rams let Demby go. Boehm was a 4th round selection and has game experience. Demby had the ability to play Tackle, however, Boehm offers versatility at guard & center, but seems more natural at center. I trust Aaron Kromer here, so let's see how it plays out.

The signing of Boehm had something to do with taking the chance Demby would not make it to the PS. I'm not sure Demby had the quickness to be effective in the NFL. He seemed to have the ability to move his feet in short area but was very slow pulling. We may find out later what the thinking was. Now, we will see how Demby does as a Lion.

The Detroit Lions? Didn't Greg Robinson go there after being cut by the Rams? And now isn't Demby going to the Lions after being cut by the Rams? So far this doesn't bode well for Demby.
Or the Lions? You would think they've learned they're lesson.

Fool me twice, shame on me.
