If Demby had potential he didn't show it with the Rams. And if Kromer didn't mind cutting him, then he too doubted Demby, and that's good enough for me.Horrible move. Demby had potential, which is more than you can say for Brandon Allen or Isaiah Johnson.
Worst move the off season, imo. So now we have 3 QB's, and only one of them is worth a d@mn, and Demby goes to Detroit to develop into a starter.

Do you know for certain they didn't want to? Fun game isn't it doubting the validity of others opinions.Does anybody actually have proof that the Rams wanted to sign Demby to the PS.
That's just it, I don't know what to think.Do you know for certain they didn't want to? Fun game isn't it doubting the validity of others opinions.
Or they didn't
Or they did. They thought they'd sneak him on the PS because they wanted Johnson on the squad for Week 1. The Lions surprised them by claiming him. Snead and co. are great, but they're not perfect.
So you don't know what to think other than to criticize those that wanted to keep Demby? I trust McVay, Wade, Bones and Kromer. Doesn't change the fact I as a fan think they should have kept Demby over a safety that in three previous season hasn't us a lot and looked bad most of the time we saw him in this preseason. That's just it, I don't know what to think.
Well if the Ram's brass thinks winning this game by adding Johnson for the week is worth the risk of losing Demby to the Lions, it's not a screw up
Isaiah Johnson? I doubt it, he's been released multiple times and has been PS material since he went undrafted in 2015. Demby, otoh, was just drafted this year and showed starter potential in limited playing time so far.
I still don't understand.
The only one here criticizing is you. All I did is ask a question. If you got angered by this move don't take it out on me. This is a board where we discuss things. All I was doing is asking if anyone knew if the Rams planned on signing him to the PS. Now please tell me how is that is criticizing? So you don't know what to think other than to criticize those that wanted to keep Demby? I trust McVay, Wade, Bones and Kromer. It's comical the people being so sarcastic because some of us wanted Demby on the team to develop instead of a safety who has show less in more years in the league.
It is if they thought they weren't going to lose him and wanted to keep him.
Why would they honestly think that ? He does have the tools & The Rams Offensive Line is one of the best in the NFL.
One thing you know about Demby. The Rams gave him a lot of film for other teams to view.
Well, here's hoping Isiah Johnson is the Cory Littleton of special teams and Brandon Allen is a bonafide backup to Goff for many years to come.
It's reasonable belief considering when they waived him. There was obviously gamesmanship there. I think they gambled and lost. It is what it is. It won't make or break us. There are some OLs I like still on the market. But I am disappointed. Demby is a big boy with country strength. He was a small school LT. Kromer has had success developing guys like him in the past. I don't think our intention was for him to be claimed.
Either he has talent or he doesn’t. Kromer can develop other players as well.Hiw good Demby becomes is on him.He could be right back with us soon enough.
Detroit has not been able to develop O lineman.
They might release him.
Kromer HAS been able to develop lineman.
This may not even be over.
