We've seen a lot of quarterbacks do great in their first 6-10 starts as a pro, then fall off a cliff into mediocrity. I hope that's the same for Purdy!

And the 9ers have the built in bullshit excuse of, "he was never the same after injury"

Hope he finds a better team and success with that team. He's just on the wrong team.

Could you have imagined if the Browns drafted Tom Brady instead... what would have been?

If you’re a niner best not to say anything, the list is long of what-ifs for them. If Jimmy hits that throw they win the SB, if Jimmy doesn’t get hurt they win the SB, if Purdy doesn’t get hurt they beat the Eagles. Not a good look.

One of the greatest hits in our history. Absolutely epic. We don't win that game without that hit.

I’ve been re-watching this game in its entirety for the umpteenth time. Scott lit him the fuck up!

I have to give credit to Aikman for immediately calling it a clean hit. At that real speed it was hard to tell. If that hit HAD been head to head, dweebo would have been done for the day.

I’ve watched a lotta Ram football in my life and it is hard to find a game as sweet as this. No better way to win a Super Bowl than to step on the 9ers’ throats in the process.

In general athletes aren’t good at interviews so it’s the interviewer’s job to get something interesting out of it. There’s really nothing going on right now so this guy decides to poke Deebo about dumb stuff he said. Deebo seems caught off guard so I don’t know if he was told what the plan was. After a few minutes of ribbing Deebo has had enough and hangs up. Not the best way to handle it but the host was clearly trying to make him look like a dope, which he was for saying what he said but you never know how a guy’s going to react when called on his own bs. Some guys have the media experience and personality to go with it and maybe have fun and some guys don’t.
