It's Kupp 2.0.
It's the legs that go first.
It's why Stafford is all over Puca, way to much, every game.

Whittingham.Tutu needs more targets for sure and Adams is adding a deep element to the Offense. Both Atwell and Adams have a similar target to catch success rate. Adams averaging about 16 yds a catch and Tutu 41 a catch. I think Whittington is pretty much used like Nacua and spell him when necessary. As the season goes along the Tutu, Adams, Nacua combo is going to be lethal.
We are a "We then me" team nowI think Adams looks fine physically. What I am surprised at is his lack of ability to make contested catches. And a few key drops. Like the dropepd TD vs Philly. We'll see how things play out as the season progresses.
I wouldn't worry about Adams getting discouraged or unhappy about his usage.
If he does, cut ties, because that would be peak diva WR behaviour and this is a "me not we" team.
His usage to date as been as good as any WR in his circumstances could ask for. He is 32 years old and will be 33 before the season ends. He surely must have known that he would be WR2 in Los Angeles with a receiver as good as Puka in-house,. Puka is arguably the best WR in the NFL. He is on a literally historic pace so far this season statistically, is in his prime, nearly a decade younger, already knows the system, already has chemistry with Stafford, and quite frankly is a lot more diverse in terms of what he brings to the table - blocking, jet sweeps, X receive spot, Y receiver spot, etc. - and so he can naturally stay on the field more and also naturally can have more plays schemed up for him. Adams' targets and stats are very much in line with what a good WR2 should expect. Particularly in the red zone, where he seems to get almost all of them. Puka's TD catch vs. SF, to my recollection, was his first red zone target this season? It's not like Davante is playing 2nd fiddle to a JAG. I trust the Rams would have had these conversations with him before bringing him in. And no WR is going to be the focal point every Sunday. You can't pout because you get held to middling stats 1 week. It happens to everyone. The other team gets paid too. Sometimes you have to take what they give you. Some weeks that will mean not throwing the ball much at all...
