Goff has neen severely outplayed by prescott the last 8 or so games. Don't believe it? the NFL Network did a nice piece on it yesterday. Both teams have had meltdowns but mostly only rams fans think they're the best team at this very moment.

The Rams have better coaching.
Better weapons. Better STs. Better offense. Better record. Perfect in our division. Havent lost to a team that didn't make the playoffs.

Vegas odds makers dont care about how bad Cowboy fans want to win. They care about money and thus have us as heavy favorites for a reason.

Your team is kinda good this year. Ours has been kinda great.

If you knew anything about our team and this season, you would know that the Cowboys are probably going to lose. Possibly badly.
Its also possible we fumble every punt and lose to an inferior team like we did last year - but thats unlikely.

There is a chance y'all play out of your mind and win.
If that happens, the better team in 2018 lost - and it will almost certainly be because we beat ourselves.

I appreciate your dense belief in your team. Most of us Rams fans know what its like to ignore reality and grasp at anything that supports our dream. We have done it every season since 1999 - including the worst 10 year stretch ever.
So we know all about ignoring the evidence and clutching at anything that supports our fantasy.

The "Dink and Dak" passing attack doesn't scare anyone.
Jared throws downfield into tight windows all the time. If he took the easy throws all the time he would have even better completion numbers.

The Rams and Cowboys have been a lot closer to equal in the second half of the season. The edge would probably go to Dallas because they've lost only once. There's pretty clear demarcation lines for both teams. Dallas added Amari Cooper. LA lost Cooper Kupp. The teams performances flipped.

Goff played like rookie Goff this year against good defenses. If he rolls out his average of .25 TDs 240 yards on 50% completion with a pick and a fumble, which is what he put up the last three times he played against competent defenses, the Rams are going to have a tough go. Maybe that was a slump. Maybe it was the competition. But I think the kool aid is a bit strong without accounting for those three games and putting all your eggs in games against the Cards and 49ers.

If being nervous would help the Rams win, then I'd be nervous. Since it won't, I'll watch the game and cheer when the Rams score and win, and cuss if the Rams screw up too much and lose. Just protect Goff, even if that means replacing Sullivan or Whitworth with Allen or Noteboom and playing 2 TE sets, and the Rams will win, IMO.

I'm wondering if Natson will get in for a few receptions. If that guy gets loose it can be paydirt!

Not sure if you are serious or not. But the game could actually come down to the performance of Natson vs Austin. Any big return or fumble could be the difference in the game.

Yep I'm serious! We know Natson is very dangerous on the returns. IIRC, his only fumble was against Philly.

He's listed as backup to to Cooks...so...my thinking is would he come in for that quick WR screen? Probably not, because the minute the Cowboys see him...they'd know something was up since Natson rarely lines up as a WR.

You're right though...a fumble by either could be a BIG DEAL.

Crazy talk man, monuments is everything going into the playoffs. The better team as of late is the rams? No way man.. You guys near last in the league against the Run and we are among the elite at running it. You won't stop the run and the cowboys should control the clock as they always do typically. The rams defense will get worn down and they won't be able to put up a ton of points. Factor in Goff could seriously struggle when his reads won't be there as usual. I would give you guys more credit if I believe your defense was going to be able to keep us from running but you can't and won't. It all starts with our running game and that is the rams kryptonite.. I'm dealing with facts here man, sure the rams could step up and surprise everyone and stuff the run or control it, but the stats show otherwise so that is why I say your whole teams conceptual style will suffer. Dak will also run and is hard to bring down, there is too much to account for in terms of our running game this is a horrible match up for you guys.

Lets not forget that homefield advantage won't be so great either. It's going to be loud on both sides. But, for you to say the cowboys have to play out their minds to win is a joke because both teams have to play well to win. If you look at the last half of the season you will see why most NFL experts are picking Dallas. We went 13 and 3 daks rookie season and lost our first game after a bye and didn't look great going into the playoffs after resting starters and we were home as well.

I'm really not trying to be a homer here, I'm honestly trying to look at the facts. Yes I know the ram's have an offense that can score a bunch of points and great coaching, but we have great coaching as well on the defensive side of the ball and some monster players to back it up. You have to score to win and the cowboys offense is getting better and better at the right time. The cowboys should of scored a couple more touchdown against seatle as well but thanks to some non calls and bad calls it didn't happen.

Lets see how this plays out, I'm looking at what I see in front of me, but I also know that the cowboys could easily lose based on their history of choking or making untimely mistakes. In all reality, this game is a toss up at this point in my mind, but if we were playing the Saints I wouldn't dream of predicting a win. We got the matchup we wanted, not lets see who is right.

This match up reminds me of those Rams v 49ers play off games, when Montana was in his pomp. We had a top ten defense and crazy good running game - they crushed us every time

Goff and McVey is a special combination and we have enough on defense to see off Dallas. There are no easy playoff games, but the odds are definitely in our favour

Todd Gurley being limited in Wednesday’s practice has me nervous... shouldn’t he be 100% by now?

Edit: after reading more articles about his knee, I think I’m just nervous in general

I assume you meant momentum. The last time the Rams lost, the Cowboys also lost. Everyone seems to be ignorant of this fact.

The Rams also lost the week before with Goff playing terribly. And won the week before that with Goff also playing terribly. In those three games he put out a stat line that looked like his rookie season.

He had a 54 rating with 6 picks, 4 fumbles and 1 TD. He's playing a good defense again this week. Maybe he bounces back. But I'm not sure why it's considered to be such a sure thing.

Not true, I never brought up the last two games, what I did bring up was for 9 games we have been fighting for our playoff lives and choose not to rest started to keep momentum flowing when Dak could of rested. This years cowboys teams reminds me of the 2018 packers team where after Aaron Rogers had lost like 4 games to start the season he said "RELAX"........ They had to win most of their games to get into the playoffs are were absolutely in playoff mode most of the season. I see some real merit to that situation quite honestly, and I can't get past the fact that the rams are so bad at stopping the run and our defense is so good.. It just doesn't add up or compute with me that is all. Like I said before, the Cowboys shouldn't be favored, but I can see why so many are picking them.

You are a homer for your team, but thats fine we all are.
Now, dont forget that the Rams clinched the NFC west on week 13, and that is exactly when the production started to decline. I honestly think that the people who expect to see the december rams on saturday are in for a surprise.

Guys, I hope for a great game and I know we all want our teams to win. My only goal was to have a good discussion. I've been blunt about where I think the Cowboys strengths lie, but I also think the Rams could come out swinging and easily win as well...

Our team is fresh and they are crackling with energy in every interview I see. I got a feeling the Cowboys are about to get blown out. Not that the Cowboys suck, it's just that the Rams are that good....and they will show it.
