It’s funny. You guys are clearly the better team, yet some of you guys are nervous about this game. You guys are a near lock to win.

I would be a liar if I didn’t say that there were a number of Saints fans who felt the same way about this game against the Eagles.

Have faith and hold the line boys (and girls...or whatever pronoun you use to describe yourself).

we know that but the rams were clearly better than the falcons last season as well. that's why they play the game.

I get that. We (the Saints) have had some inexcusable losses in the playoffs (Vikes last year, 49ers in 2011, Seahawks in 2010), so everyone has a healthy amount of skepticism, but stay the course and have faith.

You guys aren’t losing this week.

Thanks for the positive vibe. We take nothing for granted as long time Rams fans.

Question: Would rather play the Rams should you advance? The Cowboys had your number at their house this year.

I would honestly prefer the Cowboys in the next round. You guys have a strong offense, and while our defense has stepped up, you guys still have a strong offense.

The Cowboys outside of Jerry World are a different team. Beatable.

the gregg williams d in full effect.

Indeed. That man’s defense was fine in 2009, but against the Seahawks (2010) and then the 49ers the next year would be a few examples as to why the Browns passed him over.

I think it's important for McVay and Goff to get that first playoff win. You don't want to start a pattern of great seasons ending in playoff losses. I really thought they should have beat the Falcons last year and yet they came out making mistakes and never really got started. I don't want to start hearing about McVay and Goff being 0 -2 in the playoffs. So this is a huge game not just for this game but going forward. They need this.

I'm hearing this will essentially be an "away" game because of the Cowboys fans who will pack the stadium. I hope that doesn't happen.

In any case, the Rams should win this game but they have to be sharp. No turnovers. No sloppy tackling or getting out of gaps. Goff needs to not turn the ball over. Take the sack first. Dont panic. McVay needs to not get into a pattern of throwing every down.

Be smart, be sharp and if they are good enough to be world champions they will beat whoever is in front of them.

But yes, I will be nervous.

I’d have to agree with you. It is going to be a very interesting playoffs this year.

The problem here is the cowboys "need this" as well. It's been since the 90's since the cowboys have make it to nfc championship game. Each team will need to be the best versions of themselves to win.

I'm more nervous about us not showing up the way we have for the first half of the season. If we were that team, you wouldn't even give the Cowboys the time of day to make you nervous. Make no mistake we are the better team, and sometimes the better team doesn't win. This is going to come down to three things. Goff's performance,McVay's preparation, and how Aaron Donald handles double teams.

If Goff comes out his first drive, and scores with ease; I'm at least 90% sure we win the game. Why? Their offense is awful, I mean like terrible. So unless they have the capability to out score us (Saints) or keep us from scoring (Bears), they'd have to depend on a subpar game from Goff (Eagles). Those are literally the only scenarios where I see them winning. What makes the Rams good is balance. They can play any style they want, and still put up points. I'm not sure the Cowboys can do the same, no I know for a fact they can't do the same.
Goff has neen severely outplayed by prescott the last 8 or so games. Don't believe it? the NFL Network did a nice piece on it yesterday. Both teams have had meltdowns but mostly only rams fans think they're the best team at this very moment.

I am in agreement with those stating if we lose to the Cowboys we didn’t deserve to be in the rodeo in the first place. I am not saying it will be a cake walk but we have the better offense, better head coach, home field, some momentum, rushing relief with Anderson and are fully healthy on defense. Gurley is a bit of a question mark but it looks like we will have him to some degree. Relax and enjoy.

Yup just Rams fans think we are good. Nevermind Vegas or our record.
Smh.

Are you going to come back and take it like a man after you lose ? Or are you just here to talk shit before the beatdown ?

Except for two awesome games against the Eagles and Giants, Dak's stats are okay.

He doesn't miss many passes but the majority of them are between 5 to 10 yard throws.

However, that means that the pressure is on the Rams linebackers to tackle immediately and that has been a severe problem with us all year. I am hoping Barron shows up for the Dallas game like he did for the 49er game. That will help the Rams quite a bit and Dallas will have trouble moving the ball against the Rams if he does show up like that.

I love how these network chose an arbitrary 8 games to accentuate their narrative.

If you look at a 16 game sample its not even close...Goff smokes Dak, but how about we take a more recent sample since they used 8 to make sure to include some of Goff worst perf due to RB injuries.. Here is the stats of the last 3 regular season games.

D. Prescott 27-44, 387 YDS, 4 TD Giants

D. Prescott 20-25, 161 YDS, 1 TD Bucs

D. Prescott 24-39, 206 YDS, 1 INT Colts

J. Goff 15-26, 199 YDS, 4 TD 49ers

J. Goff 19-24, 216 YDS, 1 TD Cards

J. Goff 35-53, 339 YDS, 1 INT Eagles

totals

Dak
71-108 65.7% 754 yards 5 TD 1 INT

Goff
69-103 67.0% 754 yards 5 TD 1 INT

Remember that Goff was pulled early in the 49ers game where Dak just padded his stats and I see ZERO evidence of the NFL networks claims.

Every team remaining in the playoffs should make you nervous...THIS IS THE NFL bro!

I get you though. My main concern is...is it gonna take the Ram defense a half to figure Dallas out...and how is Goff gonna handle what the Dallas defense throws at him. Those two things can make you nevous!

However, if the Rams come out ON POINT on both sides of the ball...it could be a wrap early!

This is the perfect time to see the Rams FOCUSED, INTENSE, AND TAKING NO PRISONERS!!!

The media is so freaking dumb, I mean really.

Watching “undisputed “

They open the show debating Goff vs Dak

Stat lines

Dak - 28 “Total TDS” yeah they’re including passing AND his 6 rushing

Vs

Goff - 32 TDS yet no mention he had 34 “total TDS (2 rushing)

Just laughable, so much for honest reporting

To be fair, Shannon Sharpe called them out on that almost immediately.

In terms of the Cowboys, I already said why I'm not scared.

Their D is good against the rush, but we're a good passing team still, where they are average. Their weakest point on D? They are bad against the playaction. Rams greatest strength on offense? The play action.

Because they sell out to stop the run, hence the rushing D.

Let's flip to offense, they have Zeke and we're not a great run D team. Little worrisome, sure. Where are they weakest though? Interior O-Line. They give up a lot of pressures and are like the 3rd worst for giving up sacks. Our D's greatest strength? Our interior D-Line.

Donald is going to feast, and Goff will put up 4 TDs easily.
