#1 McVay is the best rams coach in my lifetime (59 years old going on 60) Note the management and front office are also the best I have seen as well.

#2 I would have liked to see what Dick Vermeil could have done if he had decided not to leave after the super bowl in 1999-2000 (In spite of the ownership)

#3 I liked John Robinson especially with Zampese as the OC but I feel like he was handcuffed by ownership and front office at that time.

Martz was able to do well initially because of Vermeil's legacy talent.

Some times I am in disbelief over the whining I see in here about his play calling. He isn't perfect but damn close compared to some of the trash that is out there. Anyway enjoy him while he is here because it wont last forever and when he is gone there will be a lot of long faces around here because his replacement will pale in comparison. I expect him to have a bust in Canton and a statue at Sofi.

Almost 66 years old…saw all of them since George Allen.

I have soft spots for all mentioned, but Sean McVay is the best they’ve ever had.

I hope he’s got another 15 years in him.

Rams!
I am also almost 66 ... also have seen them all since (and including) George Allen ... also have soft spots for those mentioned (and a couple not mentioned) ... AND, could not Agree More about Sean McVay.

By-the-Way, if that is a fairly recent photo of you in front of SoFi (with that lovely lady) ... then you are aging much better than me ... and ...

I can put it succinctly: how many coaches would be worse and less innovative than McVay on the Rams with everything we had to work towards to get to where we are?

....and Vermeil won because of Martz offense.
Vermeil was one more bad season away from betting run out of town.
Would have been interesting to see what he would have done as Martz would have moved on. But, to his credit, after being so stubborn, Vermeil adapted to the game. His offenses in KC were very good as well.

Agree on McVay benefitting from an excellent front office.

McVay is the best coach the Rams have ever had and its not close.
If he decides to keep going for the long haul he will set career numbers that will be hard for anyone to better with the Rams.

If Stafford plays another couple of years he would likely become the Rams all time career passing yardage leader as well.
He is about to pass Goff.
