I couldn't help but cringe watching the Giants continue to attack the Eagles when the Giants got the lead. I felt we should have done the same, instead of turtling while momentum shifted.

Yes, the Eagles needed a few miracles along the way to beat us, but it sure seems we made it MUCH easier for them by going away from play-action easy throws to keep them on their heels.

My $0.02...

McVay needs to regain the killer instinct he had during his first two years. Back then, the opponent was fucked if we jumped out to a big lead. These past several years, I’ve never felt like any lead is big enough because I’ve seen opponents come back to make the games close, if not outright win like the Eagles, after we had a big lead.

I think having a very mobile QB also very much helped the Giants. Dart was extremely good in the pocket last night and had some huge runs. Really think Dart was our target in the 1st this year. The second he was picked we traded down. Likely not a coincidence. I'd certainly take Dart over Ferguson and the Falcons 1st. He also had some tremendous passes that his terrible WR's dropped.

Just need to learn from it. Part of that learning is gonna be beefing up that corner back position. Fixing the goddamn kicking problems.

looking for things that really are not there.

I watched the 2nd half of this game. The Giants were not blitzing all over the place with the lead in the 2nd half. There were plenty of times when Hurtz had time to throw the ball.

If we could execute basic FGs we score 33 pts

The Eagles were a lot less healthier against the Giants than us.

Really wasn't an approach thing.

I noticed that the iggles false started on the tush push against the giants. If the refs can't officiate it properly as they say then then the play needs to be banned. I don't support banning plays, but if the eagles cheat and get away with it, then it should be eliminated.

.

I hope Mcvay wakes up on game day and says to himself.

Agree & Disagree.

The mobile QB (along with two of the Eagles best defenders being out) helped, but from what I understand the team wasn't going to select Dart anymore than they were going to select Nix the prior season. McVay admitted even prior the draft that QB wasn't going to be an option. Some might say he could have been lying, but it's hard to image this team not moving up for a QB if they really wanted him.

Dart may have already reached his ceiling on a team that has been run as bad as the Giants have.

I don't think this can be understated. Dart moved the chains a lot when he had to make really good runs. We just don't have that option.

Don’t think Gurley’s coming back, TG was the ultimate weapon, especially when playing with a lead and wanting to run the ball. Like Saquon last year, if you stack the line against him one missed tackle and it’s off to the races. And a little dump off turns into a foot race.
