Look, mcvay and Donald wanted to retire. Mcvay even wrote about his turmoil getting them there. I can see why he's not got it this year. How many coaches did he lose before it bites him in the butt? Stafford was a qb on the downside of his career, played more losing games than winning games. Had a Cannon for an arm. He peaked last year. This year he's playing like he's done. Money was the only thing brought Donald back. He's good still but not by himself. I'm sure he will be done soon as well. Kupp is a stud but last year will be his best year. Until he has a respected counter part. The Rb's are a joke and I embraced them until the injury durability bug ate their lunch.
We all see the problems on the offensive line. Our coaches now suck too? I'm tired of, well at least we won the superbowl last year. Yeah was great, but what have you done for me lately. Consistency is important in a team game, I don't see it. We are running out of " there is time left this season." No one is playing like it or coaching like it. Go rams!

I'm shocked how so many forget and I do it too and attribute it to the anger of our fandom. I know we need to vent and shit but we all know simplify the game we know this isn't Stafford we know this isn't the offense we know this isn't Mcvay we know this isn't ARob the o-line is a mess in every way and even when they have good snaps it's ruins timing it has you throw off back foot seeing pressure that's not there etc.

Pick a QB that would have success rt now behind this line and be honest. No not even josh Allen only Lamar Jackson Might survive and get off script plays.
Rodgers no Brady dead malhomes no we saw that already and it wasn't this bad.

over all the years of watching football guys what are to of the most repeated maybe cliche statements always made about a qbs success?

1. Qbs best friend is a good running game-FAIL

2. A mediocre QB can look good behind a great o-line FAIL

Mad frustrated irritated as I am this is not on Stafford. And yes I'm mad at him anyway but that's just anger. When you peel the layers it's like an onion and Stafford is the an outer layer not Staffords fault.

It always boils down to blocking and tacking and the Rams are not blocking very well at all. Injuries haven't helped but they got manhandled in game 1 as well. Sucks for Stafford.

Corbett was out of left field that year too. I might reach out to the Falcons about Matt Hennessy. He hasn't worked out for them, but I like his fit in our scheme. And he has the C/OG versatility we like. Jalen Mayfield might also be an interesting option from Atlanta when he returns for IR (lost his starting job there).

Should never have let Woods go, you could count on him.

Every year. This window where his offense sucks happens every single year. This season it's just happening a little earlier than normal because of the combination of bypassing preseason with the starters as is usual plus the injuries. And then mix in the fact we've seen some great defenses so far.

So he's going to be really pissed. He's going to review the game film. Then he's going to realize what he should have realized last week which is that the fucking run game is what saves him and gets his offense back on track in these windows. And he'll devote some practice to something other than "above the neck walkthroughs" and get his team focused in and they will kick the next team's asses.

The depth is shit right now because we have only drafted one OL in the first 4 rounds the last 3 years when we have lost 3 starters

Whitworth Colbert and shudders BLythe (he was good depth as a right guard only)

I'll argue it's not the depth that's the big picture problem.. it's the starting left guard.. and the questionable ability in run blocking of the left tackle.
You're number 2 Center was fine.. who's got three legit centers on their roster?

They had depth. It's just been wiped out.
btw.. no way Edwards plays for the next two weeks, imo. Who knows if he even comes back, the way he was talking about it.

Shit...it's all shit. Offense is shit and defense is good to give up a few big, back breaking plays a game. Special teams didn't do much to earn their paycheck today. But McVay will promise to do a better job putting our players in position to make plays and preach execution over and over again. None of that matters when your team is top heavy with no real depth where it matters.

Stafford is one hit away from getting injured. Kupp is gonna need to see a chiropractor after carrying the team all season - if he makes it through the season. Injuries keep piling up for us while other teams in the division continue to get healthier.

Might be calling it an early season if we can't win against Carolina next week.

It’s the o-line period.

At the game we were looking up at the stat board and it was so lop sided in our favor for most of the game.

Fumble return for a TD and a blocked punt is hard to over come. The other two turn overs was just to press and make something happen towards the end.

Cowboy fans are overall pretty nice.
