Stop playing Bobby Evans...That is all, for the present.

I have only watched mainly The Rams offense, because I can’t watch the defense. Know Raheem Morris is doing everything he can to not go down to many points of late,or hold it all together while improving players.
Love Coach Henderson (DK coach).

Funny thing about Bobby Evans is how he stands up each play & looks back at the QB before almost every play & then he points with his right arm out before the snap.

I know at the end of the game(Dallas) there was a coach in his face.Rob Havenstien gave up the sack. Was wondering why is Bobby Evans getting yelled at ?

Did any Jeff Fisher team have a stretch this bad on offense? I cannot seem to recall it but perhaps my memory has just suppressed it.

Very pathetic considering those Fisher teams always had back up QBs with Bradford always injured, Fisher was offensively inept and a defensive coach, and no game breaking WR was in the picture. We now have Kupp, Stafford, and McVay the alleged boy genius.

I understand the o-line is in shambles but some of those Fisher teams were just awful on the o-line as well.

Bad look offensively right now, from top to bottom. Coaching staff, player execution, everything.

Yes, the o-line handicaps that side of the ball. But we still need better. From Stafford in particular. Against SF, if he is better in the red zone, and does not miss wide open TDs, we might well squeak out the W.

Hopefully the Rams can turn this things around!

Lots of football left to be played.
pretty much the entire jeff fisher was here... i think the most they ever scored per season was 20 or 21?

the last two years was 14 ppg and 17.5 ppg and another year was 18

Poor offensive line play = poor qb play and a bunch of TOs? I’ve seen this show before.
We have never seen this poor of o-line play however.....

Stafford has already been sacked 21 times.... in 2019 and 2020 goff was sacked a total of 22 and 23 times for the entire season....

One thing Goff was good at was getting rid of the ball before being sacked. However, to offset that, he was terrible at who he threw to while under pressure.

Yes it's largely the OL. It's also some other shit too though. Thing is we're gonna need to get the OL a bit healthier to fix the other shit. Trying to fix the pass game with these protections will get Stafford hurt.

So we get Allen back for this next game. Maybe get this OL to play better with him in there. I do think this OL can develop if they stop getting injured.
With this schedule, there needs to be 5 stable OL that have spent significant time together. Sadly, I don't believe it's going to happen this year. That's not to say if the OL suddenly becomes healthy overnight that they can't get in to the playoffs as a wild card.

There chances of winning the division are "slim and none" and we know where slim went.

this is a combination of a lot of things... we are playing good defensive fronts with bad 0=lines.

Our defense is okay but not bailing us out like it did in 2020.

I'm not totally shocked by any of this sadly.
The "D" cannot perform as well when playing from behind, it's as simple as that. As you suggest, the offensive performance speaks for itself and as McVay continues to say; "there are no excuses."

I've said for weeks the defense has not been bad and we down corners. Add to the unit that has a chance to keep you in it further dominate or win you games. Get an elite edge. I know Vons don't grow on trees but there's some available pieces out there. A dangerous edge will have similar effect as Von. AD can only do so much. Floyd doesn't even have a sack yet. It could help with turnovers getting strip sacks pressures leading to rushed throws for picks and what's better than extra possessions for an anemic offense. It just is logical.

I hope they can see the domino effect that it would have as opposed to adding like a RB. We just need to get to the bye 3-3 soon as Carolina game ends that's when mcsnead should be completing or close to completing a trade or two. Find that offensive lineman that isn't being utilized and a killer edge. With the bye they can become acclimated and come off the bye with edge and o-line improved hopefully and then you have van bk and Obj would be gravy. Then you can try to make that run

What tree does that "killer edge" grow on?

Yup, and if this continues Stafford will be missing some games and that will end the season.

This is it. Goff was better at short fishing and Stafford likes that deep water fishing. We're seeing the results of those tendencies.

Well not being a gm you have to get a feel for what's going on in the league? Commodes maybe?
Carolina?
Denver?
Houston?
Bears?

And probably something we didn't even think of or knew they were on our radar. That's there job I trust them still haven't lost faith in the front office.

This is somewhat true but we are not getting sacked because we are trying to throw deep... a lot of the sacks are nearly instant.

Also Goff 7.5 yards per attempt and 6.5 his last two years here...

Stafford sitting at 5.5 at the moment - stafford had 35 completions and 28 last game....

We are doing a lot of short passes out of necessity, and it still is hard to get anything going.

Lets also be real... we had a very soft schedule with a healthier team last year at the start.

Bear, colts, Tampa, Arizona, Seattle, giants, lions, Texans to start last year

this was going to a challenge without the 0-line injuries

that being said its pretty shocking how bad we have been.

The o-line pass pro has not been good. In fact at times its been pretty horrific. That said, Stafford has held the ball too long a bunch of times and has played pretty lousy overall.
