Yeah, I'd take Goff over at least a dozen of the guys in front of him.Goff at 30. Sorry I shouldn’t care but I don’t agree.

Ain’t just Simms.Sure is a lot of crowning going on with Herbert in the media. If it is just for this year seems to me prioritizing the kids is kind of dumb but this is Chris Simms we're talking about.
Yeah and Burrow was under duress by everyone tbh. Also agree on your Rodgers take. He's a selfish prick. Great QB but still a prick. So he has Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Burrow, and Rodgers over Stafford. Fair list at the top. You could definitely make a reasonable argument for it.
I'd definitely take Stafford over Rodgers. Rodgers is the opposite of Stafford. Complains a lot. Shrinks in the big game. Me-first. Afraid to take risks at the expense of his personal stats.
Is this list as of today, or also taking into account future longevity?
Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, and Burrow are all clearly better picks than Stafford if you are keeping in mind the anticipated number of playing years a QB has left.
As of today, I'd take Stafford over Burrow by a hair. He did just best Burrow in the Super Bowl, with way less weapons no less once OBJ went down, but to be fair Burrow was under complete duress from our defence. Herbert and Stafford I have as a toss up. I'd rank Mahomes and Allen as #1 and #2.
Sorry Chris, you are #4Top 3 QBs named Simms:
1. Phil Simms
2. Matt Simms
3. Chris Simms … unless anyone can think of another guy named Simms who once threw a football.
Could be Jackson, Wilson, Carr and Tannehill with AllenYeah and Burrow was under duress by everyone tbh. Also agree on your Rodgers take. He's a selfish prick. Great QB but still a prick.
I'm going to really enjoy this year's AFC playoffs. So many young QBs that will be duking it out for their legacies, you have Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert all positioned to be in that mix. It's really gonna be something. I can't recall the last time a conference playoffs had that many good young QBs who are ascending like that.
I stand corrected!Sorry Chris, you are #4

I agree with a lot of your take. I do think wins can't be completely ignored nor can playing under pressure be graded on a linear curve. One of the constants I see in this thread is tying team wins to a QB.
That is not a QB stat and IMO if you are ranking players has no place in the discussion. It’s not like they have the same circumstances surrounding them.
Even completions has to factor another player in when looking at QBs.
One of my favorites, how do they perform under pressure. That could be literal pressure, taking hits or on blitzes or game situations.
I know even that can be skewed because some of these guys have been in what we might think are pressure situations.
FWIW, I don’t like a bunch of the placements Simms has listed. But, he gets paid to do it so WTF. I’m just a fan.
