The only reason I worry about Noteboom or Brewer or Allen or even Shelton is that we are only going to carry nine active guys and probably three prospects on the PS, as you pointed out.
And of course the three on the practice squad are iffy because they can get picked up by another team.
Injuries in Camp or not healing fast enough for the injured players could do them in.

(it's going to be a very strange offseason so all these players better bring their A-game in Camp unless your name is Whitworth or Blythe)

Whitworth
Blythe
Edwards
Evans
Corbett
Havenstein(?)
Brewer
Shelton
Noteboom(?)
Kolone
Trewyn
Polite
Demby
I only see 9 keeper's there and if somebody steps up in camp or they draft one or two OL players, we're going to lose a name player or draft pick.

We could easily have 16+ offensive lineman in Camp.

Unless this virus completely disappears or a vaccine miraculously arrives early, I think there’s a good chance we might see a few extra roster spots added for each team temporarily. Or even an expanded PS.

Rams might carry 10 on the active master roster (AMR) IF they desire.

After recently going through the OL injury disaster by ending up playing the last half of the 2019 season with 4/5th's being new starters.

I feel pretty certain that the below 8 Ram Ol'ers will start the season on the AMR.
Whitworth
Corbett
Blythe
Edwards
Evans
Brewer
Allen
Shelton

I still think that OT Havenstein will be traded @ some point in 2020. OT Noteboom will start on PUP. Sure looks like a rookie OT prospect would be an excellent addition to fill out the main 9 OL'ers very well.

Polite is a defensive lineman

Polite is an edge rusher. He can play both D-line in a 4-3 and outside linebacker in a 3-4. Same with Okoronkwo, Holland, and Lawler.

EDIT: Never mind, didn't see the earlier post.

The universe has aligned perfectly for the patriots to miss the playoffs and for the rams to get their high grade, long time starting center with none of this JAG or potential starter to develop BS.

With the depth of a handful of positions, 24 or so picks in the first 40 could very well be a WR OT, qb, and CB. Its also unlikely that a center will be among them just based on BPA.

Once you hit pick 40, the teams selecting up to the rams at 52 either dont need a center or have bigger needs.

The rams on the other hand may need a center more than any team in the league and as things look to play out, there is a very good chance that their highest rated center will be available at 52 and an even better chance that at least one of their top 2 center prospects will be anxioisly waiting to hear their named called from goodells pulp fiction like love basement.

By next Thursday the rams will have met with at least 3 of the top 5 centers so you know theyre seriously interested and that they think they could snag a starter.

They also know that the chances any of them will be around when they pick in the 3rd is slim, so they probably understand that they'll have to take care of their weakest position replacement in the 2nd round.

Center may be the only position where the rams can use their first pick to not only draft the best at his position and a first year starter, but to also fix their weakest link on the roster.

Snead says hes looking to add a starter in the 2nd round. Now which positions could that possibly be?

Secondary, no. Dline, no. RB unlikely. Qb, yes, obviously...hahhaa just kidding. Recievers, no.

Has to be oline so where is the weakest position? Center.

Agree center is very possible but imo it could be a RB too depending on who is left. Don't think he will rely on Henderson to replace Gurley. Either way I think McVay will want an impact player on offense with this pick, and maybe with both 52 and 57.

Yeah i think if they pick at 52 and 57 both will be offense.

Could be C or OG, conceivably. But it definitely could also be RB, depending on who might fall. Hendo is not a lock to beat out a highly drafted rookie RB.

Very true

Having listened to Whitworth being interviewed - it seems they see him starting for another 2 years

We traded a starting WR. As has been pointed out, this draft is stacked at the X position, so perhaps we might add WR to that list

RB and WR would be impact players if they start in 2020/21.

I do agree that one of the top centers makes sense and can see us drafting Hennessy at 57 if we do not trade out of the pick

So looking at the prospects, there are around 7 OTs projected as first rounders. The top 3 Cs are projected as rounds 3-4 (Ruiz 2-3). So at 52-57 it seems like the value will be to grab one of the 7 OTs that fell. Seems like grabbing one of these Cs at 52-57 would be a tad early?

I’m not sure where you read that? Multiple boards have Ruiz going top 40 and Hennessy round 2
