The defensive stop in OT was beautiful. When they started running it down the Rams throat, I told my son that they think they are going to do what Detroit did. It worked at first, but they don't have Detroit's offensive line.....plus the Rams defense is better than it was in that game.
Yep...and they have to be even better against Miami. They've got their QB bad and we know how fast their WRs are. Next, the Ram offense has to be in full stride because I don't think the Dolphins are a team the Rams can fall behind against.

That was some win! In the future, I want the offense to try harder for first downs to close out games.

This overtime stuff is bad for my health! :dizzy:

LMFAO !! Wow- just look at Mcvay’s play calling.

I’ve said from the beginning that The Rams offense is what has been holding The Rams back.

Shula was not getting the respect he deserved.

To me that stat line that most impressed me about the game was Rams had 7 sacks, and the Seahawks never sacked Stafford.

I had Good Morning Football on in the background this morning and I was waiting to hear how excited they were about the Ram/Seahawks and I don't think they even brought them up at all.
Did I just miss it?

The point about the Puka thing is simple. Doesn't matter how the ref reacts. Don't throw a punch. Period. You don't get ejected. You don't run the risk of injuring your hand on a helmet. Simple. And a learning lesson.

The problem is that if you watch a lot of football, you see way worse punches than that every week and nobody ever gets ejected. The ejection was soft as hell. But I do agree with you that he put himself in that situation.

I think it is better to throw away a pass then take a sack.
I 100% agree with you. I was just mentioning that I didn't think the OL did that well yesterday for the most part.

We only had 2 good drives yesterday before OT.

Well...we know there are those who have no patience. We have to admit that putting Shula's principals into practice took a while...but now it's bearing good fruit. I believe there's more to come too. The secondary tackles better but they still have issues dealing with the speedy guys they defend. Communication is getting even better too. They're young comers back there.

The OL was rather shit for most of the game I agree. As was Stafford. That said, MacDonald is an excellent coach and Seattle has some talent. Other teams win snaps too. And when it mattered the boys got it done thank fuck.

I listened to Gregg Rosenthal’s podcast. He didn’t give the Rams much credit for the win. Mostly he and his cohosts said the Seahawks had a bunch of opportunities to win the game and kept giving it back.

Strange take because I saw the Rams pass rush causing interceptions and I saw a great 4th and 1 stop in OT. I s as Lao saw Stafford carve up that Seahawk defense for the game winner.

Palozolo and Munson barely talked about the game. They made it sound like it was mostly the Seahawks loss rather than a Rams win.

First of all, let me say lick my hairy, sweaty nutsack, refs - you tried to give this to Seattle and YOU FUCKING FAILED!!!!!

What a fucking games. Season changer for us. This team showed so much fucking heart today, damn!!!

First, how about that fucking defense, baby!!! Big plays all game, 4th and 1 stop when Seattle could have kicked the go-ahead FG in OT. So fucking huge. Fiske and Verse were getting great pressure all game. And Kinchens? Didn't we draft him to be a ball hawk? Looks like that paid dividends today. Keep something in mind though - this defense is still very young and very green. They have a lot of room to grow. Imagine how these guys will be a year from now ... holy shit!

On O, we were sporadically effective. Some nice drives and some brainfarts. But Kupp had a great game and DRob was just fucking huge, especially his OBJ impersonation on the winning TD. They weren't great, but they did what they needed to when they needed to most.

Overall, love the heart too - totally shit the bet at the end of the first half, but came out in the 2nd half and completely flipped the momentum. And then when the Shithawks got some of it back, they turned it around again, with 9 and 15 stealing some fucking Shithawk souls!!!

Just a great win overall!!! WOO HOO!!!

Oh, BTW, did I mention that the refs can lick my sweaty taint the moment I finish taking a big shit right after an hour on the elliptical?

Woohoo we won!!! Now someone pass me the eye bleach cuz I have to get that picture out of my brain STAT!!!

That’s two straight games without giving up a sack on Stafford, and only one sack since the bye. The OL is starting to gel.

What’s the word on Havenstein?

What’s the word on Havenstein?

Rob Havenstein is out for the Miami game.
Old-Not-Dead says Havenstein will never return to the Rams but that has not yet been confirmed.

There's a 20 minute press conference out there where McVay up-dates the Rams' injuries.
