You know Williams (dropped game ending INT) and Puka (knuckle head move) had to both breath the biggest sighs of relief.
Puka's ejection wasn't his fault though, that was bullshit by the refs. He was shoved hard as hell after the play was over and shoved the guy off of him with about third of the power that only looked like a punch because his fist was closed. If you play in real time, he puts his first on his shoulder and then shoves him off of him. And no repercussions for the initial shove after the play of course. I'm still pissed about that even after we won.

I hear ya brother.

Technically, it was a school girl punch. The rule is pretty clear on punches. Rules are rules and I can not be a hypocrite when it comes to that. !00%, absolutely not saying that was a good call.

Dissecting this very game with the refs calls would be messier than what my frog and piglet looked like after my work in high school biology. Fucking disaster. And I am a son of a successful surgeon.

If the ref is going to kick you out 90% of the time swinging a lame punch, do not do it.
The refs hands are almost tied with the rule.
Puka let his team down with that move. He needs to keep his head right.
IMO, if he had played the 2nd half the Rams win in regulation. He is that important.
He had not done much in the game, yet. No way they hold him down all game.
The Seahawks D is pretty tough though. Hard to run on them.
We need all our guys.
Great to see Fisk break out too.
Nice bunch of rookies we have !

Horrible! Missed the DPI at the end, even though it didnt matter.

How the F did they pick up the flag late in the 4th quarter after they called unnecessary roughness after the receiver's head whiplashed after he got hit by the crown of the defender's helmet?

I didn't see the play but I heard Puka got ejected for what was seemingly a minor infraction? I'm sure you all have reactions.

What a game. Heart attack city.

What I gathered from the game was:

#1 lockdown CB should be a priority if we make any moves at the deadline. JSN CARVED us up. That probably doubled the yards of his previous high game.

Secondly, perhaps get a WR. I'm not sure you'll be able to find one better the D.Rob but I just don't trust Kupp and Puka to stay on the field.

One of (if the) the top young DL in the league and I love it.

Do we always have to have nail biters???

.

How much better is D Rob playing with Kupp and/or puka on the field. Completely invisible when he was supposed to pick up the slack with the other two out. He's the perfect wr3 for this offense.

That's a gross exaggeration. I see guys punch and slap each other almost every week, yet they're almost never ejected. The only time you see it happen is when it causes a brawl or is particularly egregious. Otherwise, they throw a flag (sometimes), call the penalty, and the guys play on.

Fuck yeah.
Lots of ugly stuff to clean up.. but character, talent and fight will get you there, sometimes.. and this team has all three in good amounts.
Hopefully Havenstein is okay.. and, if not, that Noteboom can fill in over there. Also praying to get Avila or Jackson back this week.
The offense is going to have to be MUCH MUCH better next week.. because Miami can score.

Robinson was an absolute stud today.. just awesome. I've said it a few times.. he and Stafford developed a great connection last year. Boy.. did that show up today.
