i think puka was (as usual) the second player reacting to the first player... and drawing the flag...

i think in a case like this, replay should be involved... it was obviously a retaliation punch...

a player should be able to demand a replay look at the situation... amd the first player should be the one ejected..

that's my 2 and 1/2 cents worth...
