The 1980s were brutal for Rams’ fans. I believe the Niners won four Super Bowls in nine seasons. And, the Rams were good for most of that decade.

A terrible time even with the Rams being good, and led to the Dark Ages of the 90’s.

Dre Greenlaw tearing his Achilles in a non-contact, running on the field mishap is probably the biggest example of karma getting someone in recent times. Head hunting, dirty play and then bam!
Yeah he’s always late to the pile throwing extra shots along the way. Terrible injury. Could cost him most of the season next year to fully recover and be ready to play.

This is the image on ESPN's page today, right after the winning TD was scored. Look at the dejected Fred Warner walking off, knowing they just lost the big one - again. Remember how that cheap shot fucker tried to take out Stafford with the shot to the head in the NFCC two years ago.

Gawd I hope this pain cuts deem and just fucking gnaws at him. The pic shows just the beginning, you know he's feeling it full force today.

Karma, Fred, karma you cheap shot POS.

It's their whole culture, and it starts at the top. So much of it rose to the surface in the form of tantrums and cheap shots in the beatdown they got in last year's NFCCG in Philly. You can see it just watching McVay's or Shananah's pressers; it's day and night character-wise. It's the main reason I wanted them to lose yesterday

Well.......the trip debrief.......

Almost the entire 175 passengers (compactly) were Whiner fans. I greeted them on and off the airplane. Honestly, they were in a really melancholy state. Silent both on and off the airplane. Maybe shock. I asked our very close family friend who just by chance was one of the Flight attendants, and a full on Rams fan what her thoughts were, She said they did not expect this outcome. I saw way more Chiefs gear in Vegas than Whiner at the airport. Which may be understandable. I made sure we stocked extra tissues on the plane just in case. (Joke)

I have made many trips with Whiner fans as a passenger and this was just weird. Did not expect this.

Now on to the fun stuff. I was up in the cockpit and my sister from a different mister (Rams fan) came up while I was diligently doing my preparations and said "Captain, we have something for you in the back".

Now this usually means some issue with a seat or some other issue I need to address with the continuity of the cabin and I turn around and was handed this.........

Nothing like a comfort puppy. We both agreed we needed about fifty for these for the Whiner fans on this flight. Damn cute little surprise.

Thanks for sharing this with me and as always....

GO RAMS!!!

I re-watched the Super Bowl (2X) today, and a real un-sung-hero was DL Mike Pennel.

The veteran run-stuffer is listed at 330 but he looks like 350, at a minimum. He was outstanding. If any of you guys re-watch the game, watch #64 dominate the Line on run downs. He was only signed at mid-season (to the Practice Squad) because of injuries; and only appeared in three Regular Season games. He played in the post-season because of even more injuries.

Great example of how a veteran can be added for a minimum salary, and have a huge positive impact on a quality, winning team ... like a Demarcus Robinson or Ahkello Witherspoon.

What an endearing compliment. Love you brother.

Ramily is Ramily.

I try to imagine how other teams can enjoy what we have. And I can't.

Down to the coasters my mother in law made sitting on my drink in front of me, no team can be this much fun. Can it?

Melissa sends her her best to Cammie (girl crush) and the boys. Such a special weekend with you and yours. And to all we shared that with. So blessed. Loyalty with this journey. Strangers coming together like we knew each other for a lifetime. You know who you are.

Love this board.

My dude.. it’s like you don’t watch football.
Take care.

I’m gonna add… you do realize they kicked the last FG on second down.. right?

You do understand they were making sure they left no time for the 9ers.. right?
lol, its like you don't have a life.

Shrug.

None of that changes the fact you have awful, uninformed takes on this.

But.. haters gonna hate hate hate…

The better team lost.

At least the "better" team lost with the refs giving them breaks. (illegal man downfield on the first TD. Horse collar free first down when it wasn't a horse collar).

On what basis do you make the argument of "better"?

Their kicker missed a PAT. That may have cost them the game. Their star running back fumbled a ball that cost them at least a FG. Their punt return team muffed a punt that cost them points. Their QB missed wide open receivers under pressure, like most QBs do.

You know what's better? When you miss a PAT, have 2 turnovers to the other team's 0, and the opposition gets a free TD when their receiver face masks a DB to score a TD and the team still is able to pull out a win.

Are you even a rams fan or a whiners fan in disguise?

Those spots were horrible. Tony Homo is the WORST announcer ever! Trying to sing. They asked why Andy Reed was hot yelling at the ref. They marked the ball a yard back from where it should’ve been. They cost them a couple 1st downs because of it.

That horsecaller call was BS!!

The grounding rule in The NFL SUCKS!!! It either is or it isn’t.Meaning when does judgement come into play.

Matthew Stafford gets screwed every time because of his style of play. The hashes are not always right as well. Mahomes grounding by rule was wrong, but The Head(DICK) wanted to use his judgment on the call. The WR was coming back to the ball.He didn’t ever have a chance of catching the ball, but when a WR runs the wrong route. Why doesn’t JUDGEMENT come into play when a QB is pressured ?

Calling me a whiners fan is disguise is about the dumbest thing I have ever read. You can read, right.
Stated I am glad the Killers lost.
Better, roster. That roster top to bottom is the deepest in the NFL. Tough team. Beat us how many times in a row in the regular season ?
The better team does not always win. I have been looking at vids of Niner fans killing flat screens all day. Having the time of my life doing it.
BTW, that play along the sideline is going to get called a horsecollar 100% of the time. It was one. STUPID play.

Your opinion?

If you stated your "opinion" I have no argument.

Based on past and recent results, I can argue all day that the whiners don't have the "best" or "deepest" roster.

I could make a reasonable argument that Detroit is better or deeper.

If you have a shaky kicker and other weaknesses, does that count in your assessment or do you only recognize top level stars?

Look, I'm not arguing that the whiners were a crappy team with bad players. But they got the top seed with only 12 wins. That's the lowest total in years.

Yes, tough team. No argument there and they've gotten the better of the Rams recently for the most part. But your argument that they have the "best roster", is suspect and very subjective.

Really? Top to bottom, deepest in the NFL?

"If Brock Purdy didn't get hurt, we would have won the super bowl" (Against the Eagles) Never mind the #1 defense giving up 31 points.

"If Moody made the PAT, we would have won the Super Bowl."

Mahomes and the Chiefs went back to back, I could easily argue that Mahomes and the Chiefs have a better roster and better depth.

Or are you saying Shanny is a choker of a coach who can't win the title with the best and deepest roster? I agree with that.

I'll add that the "best" roster and possibly #1 defense gave up nearly 30 points per game in the playoffs and the super bowl.

In case you haven't noticed. Most people here don't post complimentary things about the whiners, especially when the issues are subjective.
