Sorry, they are beatable and in fact stumbled into the playoffs. They lost to THE RAIDERS when they needed the win.
The extra point did in fact cost them the game. They would have tried harder if it was made, OK whatever you say.
You mean like that last 1st and goal from the 3, needing a TD to win it all. Put the ball in Mahomes hands from the gun 3 times in a row and came up with a FG. Tying the game instead of up by 4 forcing the Niners to get a TD. You mean "that" kind of "pushing harder".
Niners should have won that game. Glad they lost.

Mahomes is great. SFs kicker makes that extra point and he is 2-2 in Super Bowls instead of 3-1.
I find your takes here laughable.
A team trying to win back to back Super Bowls has some ups and downs on offense? Okay.. but they had the #2 D in the NFL to help them get through it.
The 9ers got WALLOPED by Baltimore.. and KC went to Baltimore and beat them.

The rest of your stuff is pretty much nonsense.

A missed XP when that happens is not the difference in the game. Sorry.

Feel free to your hot take.. but it's a really bad one. Three Super Bowls in 5 years and it would've been 4 if the majority of their offensive line hadn't of been wiped out in the playoffs.

Weird stuff you find in here, sometimes.

I know you think of yourself as some sort of football guru. Reminds me of someone else here.
The game was tied in regulation. A made extra point changes that. Niners win.
I know you think they could just turn a FG into a TOUCHDOWN just because they "decide to".
If that was true their last FG in regulation would have been a TD and they win in regulation.
What is laughable is you thinking you are some sort of all knowing football guy.
SF makes that XP then KC has to deal with it. Like I said, if it was so easy they would have just won the game when they had a chance.
I think the better, more complete team lost.
Who did not stumble their way into the playoffs and had home field throughout .

Curious but do you think if they made the XP perhaps KC does things differently and doesn't settle for the FG since it wouldn't have tied the game?

If Moody makes that PAT, the whiners are up 4. The chiefs made the tying FG on 2nd down with 6 seconds left and they still had a timeout.

Mahomes would have likely had two plays to score a TD from the 6 yard line. There was a good chance that KC wins in regulation if that happened. The missed PAT just gave the chiefs another option at that point.

Sure, they go for it on 4th down. They had one play, one shot at that point.
Does not mean they make it.
The "history shows" thing is a nothing burger.
You have to actually do it. Getting it done in real life is the only thing that matters.

Sure, still have to do it.
I thought they were going to throw a quick slant or something.
For all this blabbering about how great Mahomes is, he missed a WIDE OPEN receiver in the middle of the field but threw it to the left corner for a incomplete pass on that goal line situation to win it all.

Yes, you're right. But Moody did miss the PAT.

Defense wins championships. The Chief's defense was better in the OT.

Aaron Donald tossed Burrough around on the decisive play in the 4th quarter.

Bosa whiffed and Mahomes threw the game winner.

I agree.
Edge rushers in the draft McSnead, please.

lol…
My dude.. it’s like you don’t watch football.
Take care.

I’m gonna add… you do realize they kicked the last FG on second down.. right?

You do understand they were making sure they left no time for the 9ers.. right?

They'd have had to if they're at the 10-yd line with 10 secs left but need the TD, of course. But they were hot at that point.

They'd scored on each of their last two drives and moved down the field methodically with little time left on that drive. Nobody has a crystal ball so we don't know what would have happened on a 4th down there but chances are at least somewhat good, given how much a roll they were on they may have gotten the TD if they'd gone for it.

9ers lost, but still not pleased with who won the game. I could have predicted it after the refs kept adding time to the clock on their final drive in regulation. But I already knew the game was fixed before hand.
And you didn’t make a bet knowing all the information that you did? Sounds like a missed opportunity.

.. wouldn't go that far... they won the 1st 5 they were in I think
3 decades ago without the salary cap. Nothing to show for since. They have played 60 games between regular season and postseason over the past 3 years and have always finished the season with a loss. All those games over 3 years with the punishing style of play they play on offense and defense takes a toll.Niners stars like Kittle and Williams are getting old and have backloaded their cap hits. Several players got injured last night with the most serious being Greenlaw tearing his Achilles in February. Would not be surprised if they completely missed the playoffs next season. The grind has ground that team up. Brock Purdy is a really good QB. Not a great one but one who can win lots of games. He’s Jimmy G. 2.0 in the playoffs.
