I had to leave midway in the 3rd...Can't believe this...I was really pessimistic early on and couldn't see how the score was that close at the half...Now, I've sent my wife to the store with $100 and told her to buy out the kool-aid (sugared, of course)..Great day to be a Rams fan...

My thoughts:
Good
  • Todd Gurley
  • Offensive Line
  • Receivers
  • Goff (eh, more average today)
  • Wade Phillips's half-time adjustments
  • Sean McVay
Bad
  • McVay's tendency to waste timeouts and getting away from the run in the red-zone
  • Our defense in the first half
  • Ogletree's consistency
  • Our hands on defense (three dropped picks, c'mon guys)
  • Our run stopping on inside runs
Ugly
  • Cletus's crew
WHAT A freaking WIN! This was a season-defining performance. We just went on the road and beat a playoff team. Let's kick some Seahawk ass next week!

add Greg Zuerlein to list

I am now both impressed as well as somewhat excited.

Game could have got away early.

Tough win against a playoff team on the road.

Gurley putting on a Marshall Faulk like performance.

Goff looking like a seasoned all pro.

No injuries that I noticed.

Oh.....my....goodness.

Here we come.....sleep soundly all you opposing defensive coordinators.

Really looking forward to the "What Dallas fans are saying" (post-game) thread!!!

Can we just fast forward the next 168h and watch the Seattle game ?
I have to be honest, I thought this was too good to be true and that despite a good fight wa would lose a close game against a more experienced team in their stadium.
Very important win, it will bring us a lot of confidence and a lot of respect. Hell, Seattle will probably be underdogs next Sunday.

Not to be the guy that goes there, but does anyone know how many PPG the team averaged during the GSOT days?

This is one of the best wins we've had in a while. The finish to win that game on the road and dominate the second half was very, very encouraging.

I think McVay has done wonders for this team. Not just offensive scheme but the overall mentality on both sides.

I live in Albuquerque, NM. Most people here are either broncos or cowboys fans. I’d say there are more cowboy fans though. I know the cowboys have a strong national following, but I see that stupid star everywhere. Even our local fox affiliate has branded themselves as “the silver star station, home of the cowboys” or something lame like that.

Every win is important, but for me this one is a bit more special. Now, I get to rub it into a bunch of family, friends, and co-workers.

I can be dramatic when watching the Rams, I admit. There’s no other sport or team that draws that out of me though. Super proud to be a Rams fan today.
