Refs also missed a helmet-to-helmet hit on Stafford in the first half. They only grabbed it TWO separate times. Not enough for a flag called for The Rams.
Truth.
Fucking compete bullshit on display for the world to see.
Let’s give Morris some props. We lost three corners at the end of the week, and the D set the tone for the game. Secondary was leaky at times but the ship didn’t sink. We won the TO battle, got some key 4th down stops, and the run D has been lights out.
Best thing I’ve read today. My compliments, sir.Set alarm for 4.15 am. Check score. Get erection. Go back to bed.
Watch game properly later with many beers and motherfucking victory scotch.
Yeah I agree. What he did tonight short on folks in the secondary was outstanding. He cobbled shit together and called things well enough to where they didn't get BBQ'd by one of the league's best offenses.Let’s give Morris some props. Yep. This play right here. Unreal throw and catch by 9 and 3. Shoulda had 15 tacked on.Refs also missed a helmet-to-helmet hit on Stafford in the first half.
Right. The ST strategy was to put the guy with the best hands 10-15 yards off where the on side kick might land.I thought he was out there but behind where the ball was (flubbed) Fielded
The one he dropped over the shoulder to Kupp was a thing of beauty. Those are the types of passes he's been missing, some of those touch passes. So it was great to see him nailing them tonight. Also, Stafford had like 4-5 throws tonight that only a few other guys in the league are making. The backside dig to OBJ on 3rd down in the first half for 17 yards (which should’ve been a helmet to helmet call! Stafford got hit right in the head). The short TD to Kupp. The beautiful deep over route to Kupp off play action in the 4th quarter. The Jefferson score. Had a real sick no looker to Blanton while taking a shot. Just a real special performance.
That pass and the low-and-away touchdown and the deep ball to Jefferson were three absolutely superlative throws. The kinds of throws that very, very few QBs can make. The one he dropped over the shoulder to Kupp was a thing of beauty. Those are the types of passes he's been missing, some of those touch passes. It's not like these guys can just line up and be on the same page it takes a lot of work for them to anticipate one another and have the timing down and all that. Hopefully he's about to hit that stretch we saw Brady hit around this time last season where everything starts clicking for him and he won't have to press and try to hero ball and all those bad Detroit habits he's got.
But one game at a time. This team as a whole needs to show they can keep playing like this without irritating letdown games when they find themselves on the cusp of being a higher seed. Keep grinding.
We're fucking DEEEEEEP!
