I didn't know what to expect either. For most games I have an idea who may win or if it may be a struggle. I thought Arizona would challenge the secondary, but the defensive line has proven once again that if you contain Murray, he's not that dangerous. His height disadvantage is glaring when he's in the pocket, especially when pressure is near.

I hope the Rams can continue to play with the same intensity.
I noticed AD kinda two gapping & hanging out a lot spying Murray while someone else stunted or rushed hard. They have a good scheme to contain those Murray/Wilson types.

Von post game presser with the Miles Davis Tshirt and the style.

(Cam being Newton in this case, who always looks ridiculous).

I just keep re-watching this play over and over and over and over and over again. A lot to watch in this video. From Aaron Donald dropping back to spy Murray, to watching each players reaction to realizing Long had the ball, to Reeder's hit on Murray....

it's funny because Reeder I think almost doesn't believe he held the ball that long. When he first gets to Murray he doesn't lay the wood on him and just pushed him in the back as almost a love tap to let him know he was there but didn't think he had the ball and then he tries to tackle him. If Reeder simply hits Murray it likely is just a safety but since he had a seconds hesitation it allowed Murray to make a monumentally bad decision instead.

I really don't know why Kliff didn't call more designed roll-outs / QB runs. But whatev's....

Murray just looks lately like he is constantly caught in between when to pass or when to run...

I also think the injuries are taking their toll on him mentally and physically.
No QB would have played well with that rush the Rams put on him. They got smoked in the trenches.

I wonder if the rollouts and scrambling never was designed. It was just Murray improvising a la Russell Wilson. The DLine just contained him for most of the game.

Murray really looked she’ll shocked from the start. Cowherd mentioned it. It was his first playoff game. The speed of the game may have been more than he expected.

He wasn’t ready for it. I’m glad the greatness of the Cardinals has faded. It’s like the Wilson factor all over again and teams needed to relearn how to deal with that style of QB.
