The crabs... oh, you meant the catch and not Tijuana. ~ @FaceplantWhat did you bring home?
Maybe try some night fishing this Sunday.I decided to go fishing after the first quarter debacle. After the egg they laid on Monday, I didn't see much hope for the offense. Super happy they got their shit together after I stopped watching, haha!! Go RAMS!!
P. S. My going fishing was clearly the catalyst for the turnaround, so you're all very welcome!!
What did you bring home?
Actually, I did catch a crab, haha!! I was just bottom fishing the Assawoman bay.......that entire sentence sounds ridiculous, but yes, that is the actual name of the bay I have a house on.The crabs... oh, you meant the catch and not Tijuana. ~ @Faceplant

Ok, so the NFL is not like college. If a ball carrier goes down and no one touches him it still a live play. Unless the refs blew it down when Kinchens went down no one touches him. Then he gets up and runs to the endzone to celebrate with no one touching him. I have to wonder if that should have been a touchdown. Unless the rule is the player is intentionally giving himself up by going down.
I think it’s both. However, Rahim said last summer that he wanted to play a more aggressive style of defense in 2022, but they didn’t have the players to do it. Then he did get more aggressive last year. How much of this is simply McVay's preference?
When he hired Staley, it was reported that McVay wanted to put his fingerprints on the defense and intentionally went with a zone match defense. Since then, through Morris and now Shula, they've went with a zone defense on the back end that allows underneath stuff. The goal is to limit explosive plays.
They played this style even when they had Ramsey, although they sometimes allowed him to match up one on one. I think it's as much about McVay's preference as it is about the secondary talent.
He intentionally went down.
Definitely gonna come back. We need a Rams tailgate thread so we can keep track!
I had a thread going in the events forum, but the only one replying besides myself was @pvtdragon39 , and met up with him b4 and after gameI attended the Rams game as well (first time in 15 years). Thoughts:
-Gillette stadium and surrounding was ver cool.
-Pats fans are drinkers but we’re respectful enthusiastic fans
-There were more Rams jerseys walking around than I expected
-Rams played a complete game on both sides of the game
-Pats have a good QB in Drake. He took advantage of the Rams weak middle.
-when they are on KUPP/Nacua are best 1/2 tandem in NFL
-Verse is intense even more so live. Always chatting the officials and mixing it up.
-Still not sure why TEs/Atwell not bigger part of offense but they contributed.
-Rams defense will be a top 5 by end of year if not already.
-Karty missed an easy one that would have changed the game but he’s a rookie
-I’m getting a feeling zRams will be competitive the rest of the season so good to be Rams fan
-Go Rams!!

Wonder if there's a way to get more people involved. There's plenty of us here.I had a thread going in the events forum, but the only one replying besides myself was @pvtdragon39 , and met up with him b4 and after game

Caught a flounder and a too small to keep striped bass. By the time I docked back at my crib, the Rams were up 28-13. So then I got to stress the F out for the rest of the game. I should have stayed out longer!
I just might!!
Oh, I love flounder!! Yeah, catch and release on days where I don't feel like cleaning, that's fo sho. Definitely not staying out on the bay until 11pm this Sunday though!!!My Native American Bruddas sure know how to name em! I'm sold on the name alone!!
So enticing!!!
Yeah... so next time stay out longer please. I'd like to sit through us blowing the doors off someone again soon. LOL
Flounder ain't easy to clean... but damn it's good.
It was the weirdest one I've seen in some time; it looked like Kinchens jumped and purposely landed on his ass.
And the amazing part is he's doing it on limited snaps as the third safety.Kinchens has two qualities that really stand out to me.
He is a ball hawk, and he will knock the fuck out of you. I think he gets lost in coverage sometimes, but he has the potential to be a monster.
Also a terrible throw by Maye there. However our cover 2 defense scares the shit out of me - a good throw there might have been 6.
...
Earlier in the year, didn't he have two interceptions on five snaps or something crazy like that?
