17 games. How will they make home and away? Play at a neutral site with no home team?

This was a really dumb proposal to agree to by the players. They added an extra game for everybody, and 2 extra games for 4 teams (thus diluting the per game value of every player), but didn't even get so much as a reduction in the amount of preseason games to match (which the owners flat-out signaled they were willing to accept). Former players get the hose. The only ones who "benefit" are the 2nd and 3rd string guys, and only for as long as they're in the league.

Plus, now you're going to have situations where half the league gets an extra home game over the other half of the league each year...yeesh.

That's what was proposed. Each team play at a neutral site in a city without an NFL team and some of them would be London/Mexico City.

Apparently new CBA has been approved (narrowly, by 60 votes.) At least some good news on the sports front!
