While this season sucks balls. I will not say that the window is closed. It is closed only if certain players decide to leave. Until then I will hope that some players get healthy and the team plays better. Of course there is no hope for the D until morris goes. Yeah Yeah Yeah. Whatever!

It is scary that McVay put special emphasis on the running game and it got worse.

The extra time off this offseason should do the team some good. In more ways than one.

It is obvious to me that the fact that they won the SB took some of the hunger to do whatever it takes to win.

It sucks that the oline had so many injuries, but the total lack of response by the O is inexcusable.
Morris will go. Most likely to a head coaching job. Unpopular opinion on here but he is not a bad DC.

I am sure Donald wants to go to the Steelers since that is his team. We can do him right by trading him for a boatload of picks and transactions. We need to rebuild anyways in a few…Back to square one.
The Steelers are nowhere near contending and Donald likely only plays a few more years. I am not sure Pittsburgh would make a good trade partner.

And unless AD99 specifically requests a trade, I know I want him retiring in Horns without ever having donned another jersey!

And the soft defense let a 36 yr old back up QB dominate them.

I think even out pathetic offense would welcome the opposition giving them a 10 yard cushion in a soft zone.
Lol.
Dominate?
Two scores were on short fields.
The defense wasn’t good today, no need to oversell it.

Myself ... if we can get a boat load of picks for Donald and also receive an above average o-lineman, I'll be absolutely fine at this point in his career, seeing him in another jersey.

We hoped that for Bettis and Greene but look where they ended up. It happens history indeed repeats…

I'm not overreacting because frankly I counted the season done after last week.

BUT

I COULD see Donald retiring.

If Kupp is out for an extended period of time, just shut his season down.

IF Kupp is out for the season, shut Stafford down too. Let his body rest and be stronger next year.

This whole OL needs revamped. Spend money and draft capital on it. GOOD resources.

Get rid of Higbee.

Enough with this shoe string tackled, getting arm tackled RBs. DRAFT OR SIGN SOMEONE TOP TIER WHO WILL RUN A MOTHERFCKR OVER AND UNLEASH HELL.

So its obvious McVay's gonna suffer his first losing season. Probably by a lot. And the second time he misses the playoffs. The question is, does this light a fire under him? And the rest of the team? Or does he see the writing on the wall and bail? The window is shut now. They maxed out their credit cards and now its time to pay up. Does McVay view this as a challenge? Or view it as a good time to bail on the sinking ship?

I don't necessarily think it's shut and let's face it hangover is more of a curse as the team is dropping like flies.

I do think changes will be made. Maybe some drastic ones to retool on the fly. I do think they make a play for a bookend LT and a pass rusher that's how is hard to tell yet who they seem expendable contract salary how much of a cap increase etc.

Some of the off-season moves are easy to criticize in hindsight but the one thing that I think they really were to cocky blinded arrogant about was (well 2 things) thinking Von was a lock was a gamble but bigger that that is thinking you could replace a top 3 if not 2 LT so easily without even a thought. That's a killer an o-line make a mediocre offense look great let alone mediocre rbs and a bad QB average and a very good QB great. This was a huge miscalculation.

For me, never. I loathe seeing a great player in other colors, especially if they win a Super Bowl. Totally un-fucking-acceptable, inmho.

I hear ya and understand your point of view. But if it can drastically change us for next season I'm all for it. He's peaked already and if we can get a boat load (like Seattle did for Wilson) I'm all for it.

Did y'all like that agressive coverage in the second half? It was gross right? You can't play press with corners who poop their pants.
