I hear ya and understand your point of view. But if it can drastically change us for next season I'm all for it. He's peaked already and if we can get a boat load (like Seattle did for Wilson) I'm all for it.
Donald is no broken down nag like Wilson. I want the greatest Ram Dlineman to retire a Ram.

That means we can get even more from trading Donald than they got for "broken down" Wilson. I'm in!

In his own words he almost retired this off season. I'm not sure he'd take the trade, or that the Rams can fit his dead money he'd go from a $26 million cap hit next year with a trade to $41 million. I think he sticks it out and retires. If this year is bad enough maybe he retires after this year.

So its obvious McVay's gonna suffer his first losing season. Probably by a lot. And the second time he misses the playoffs. The question is, does this light a fire under him? And the rest of the team? Or does he see the writing on the wall and bail? The window is shut now. They maxed out their credit cards and now its time to pay up. Does McVay view this as a challenge? Or view it as a good time to bail on the sinking ship?
Nice post. I think McVay doesn't want to get out a losing note.

This is also on Snead going forward. Draft assets are low for 2023 but, a full complement in 2024. They both have their work cut out for themselves.

The problems are well worth having to get the SB ring.

13 rushes not counting QB runs. Behind this OL and with a backup QB. Now maybe there's simply nothing we can do. But by God I'd be running the F out of that ball. I'd go fucking jumbo midfield and just mash if I had to. What's the worst that will happen, a punt?

Not having an OL is the worst. We simply can't do shit.

Feels like a waste to have Stafford, Kupp, AD, or Ramsey to take another snap this year. Why add any more miles to their tires? Also feels borderline dangerous with Stafford. We really gonna trot him out there with this line and no Kupp? It’s just asking for a serious injury. I want them all healthy so we can hit the ground running in the offseason.

One of the biggest issues this offseason is there is just no money AND no flexibility with the CAP. They're pretty fucked. Very few places to squeeze anything.

Best hope for '23? Health.. a shit-ton of improvement from young players.. and a fucking incredible draft.

I’m walking away from watching a game for the first time since McVay took over. It’s embarrassing how bad they are playing but the real turn off is how half the team seems to just be going through the motions (IMO that’s on McVay).
I was even saying it last season. No sense of urgency, no killer instinct. McVay is Mr. nice guy

And the most carries by any one player was 6….a RB cannot get his groove running only 6 times…somebody get the remote control out of Sean’s hands please.

Some seasons injuries hurt a team. Other seasons injuries decimate a team.

We are the latter.

I’m disappointed but not mad.

Whatchu gonna do?

What's happening here is the Super Bowl win went to McVay's head. There are undeniable issues with the personnel up front but he has completely disregarded the run game and all of its potential benefits. Today was probably supposed to be a "let's run the ball" game. I know that because it had to be. But he couldn't help himself.

I know the Rams self-scout. Why isn't that dude kicking his fucking office door in.
