Two different offenses.
Two different passing games.
But I’m not defending a lack of balance.
I just understand the desire to attack the what the D is giving you.

Same concept. If you don't run the ball-- even when it's not effective (which it has been)-- the defensive line can just pin their ears back and pass rush every down. Two or three of Goff's picks this season have been deflected balls or off receivers hands. He and our offensive line need help in the pass game, other than just keeping Gurley in for protection.

Even harder to run down 14. Hoping we can come back, but maybe an embarrassing loss early in the year will pay dividends long term.

We might be looking at O line next draft and off season, if these trends continue. Hard to figure out why an offense with so much talent shows such a drop off this season. The only big change has been to O line, so you have to start there seems like.
