Part of the "doubtful" that I get is from Jourdan Rodrigue. She seems to think that McVay doesn't want to let Arians know that Henderson will not be playing Sunday. It appears that Hendo fell on the tip of the football, which separated his ribs...very painful. She thinks McVay's hopeful language is a ploy.
Oh, and I see you are reading my response at 3 AM Kansas time... go back ta sleep, ya bastid! :laugh1:

I’ve been watching the talking heads make their picks and there’s a lot of talk about how great the ram defense is which kinda makes me scratch my head. They haven’t given up a lot of points but the Colts spent a lot of time in scoring position and the bears had the ball for long stretches of that game.
The defense is the thing that worries me most about this game, people are talking like this is still the #1 defense in the league and to this point it’s not.

I question how many of those 'Talking Heads' closely watch sixty minutes of Rams' football.

Is it me or did some of you forget that the so called "great bucs" defense gave up 403 passing yards to the Dallas cowboys who was limited in running. and only beat them by 3 at home.

Not saying this will be easy but the Rams are at home our strength on offense is the passing game. WE have better corners than the cowboys and i think our run game will be just fine. Yes the Bucs worry me but we also beat this team last year and they could be missing A. Brown and the starting corners.

So Rams by 7.

I haven't watched any of their games this year. Who's getting torched in their secondary?
Dean got picked on a lot in GM 1(Dak 58 attemtps 403yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT), and a M. Ryan had 300 yds on 46 attempts, 2 TDs, 3 INTs.

teams have completely given up on the run and know they have to score pts with our offense. opponents so far are also going for risky 4th downs as well.. so when we have stopped teams on 3rd down, we're seeing drives continued due to 4th down conversions.

you guys seem to be suffering the injury bug at RB and you have a passer and good wrs. so I don't think you'll have much preventing the OC from calling an extremely pass heavy game.

we've seen a ton of attempts to date (I would imagine passing attempts against, bucs have to be leading the league.. just a guess though), so we shouldn't be in unfamiliar territory.. .

wish it was strength vs strength(our rush D).. but you guys have an advantage with an aspect that we've reluctantly became comfortable with.

should be a great game and any team could get the W

Re: the injury to Henderson (which I am thankful isn't serious) it's gonna be a good thing for the Rams to get earlier production from Michel than they might have otherwise. He probably would have had another couple weeks of scarce usage to give him time to learn the offense (E-P vs WCO). Also Henderson is honestly less of a threat to a stout front like the Bucs. He really struggles when it's tough yards, it seems to wear him down and not just physically.

Michel will serve us better this weekend vs Tampa because he has more power and ability to weather that type of game. So while I agree the Rams will be pass happy, and that Tampa has a strong front, I'm also of the mind that the Rams might be good enough this year to run the ball well vs that quality of a front seven. We really don't know yet, as the starters missed preseason and the OL is coming online still and showing some good signs. I hope so at least because if they do I like the Rams' chances.

Wondering how many "roughing the passer" penalties the Rams get, how many holding penalties AD doesn't get and how many phantom PI's the Rams secondary gets. Over-under is 3.

Exactly where is my exaggeration, So Ram? Please be specific.

To answer you question, I could see the Rams going 4-0 IF they clean up their tackling and ST fubars.

But mistakes made against quality teams will cost a heavy price.

don’t know your prediction for the season, but 4-0 for the Cards or Rams will be a mistake against a quality team.
Wow- I can see both teams making mistakes & one of them still being 4-0. Perspective is an amazing thing.
Just to add another thought of The Rams having 3 of 4 home games to start the season. If they would have been 1-2 or 2-1 this game Sunday would be a much more intense game with all kinds of pressure to win.

i was chill the whole game because the rams were doing it easy but i swear every time i saw donald blatantly held i lost it. it's just so obvious.

the other time i lost it was when bernard made that long run from a catch from deep inside their territory. there was the most blatant push in the back on young who was about to tackle him inside their 20 for minimal gain. how do those fucking refs let these go? fucking cocks. tried to keep brady in the game for as long as they could until it was obvious the rams wouldn't lose. fucking cheating fucks.
