To me it feels like the worst case scenario. Cowboys have been getting better and seem to have found themselves. I hope we can stop their run.
Did they did not lose their 2nd wideout plus their slot receiver is badly damaged.

WR Allen Hurns underwent surgery & WR Cole Beasley re-aggravated his bad ankle by a spraining it again. Those events have Garrett contemplating calling up second-year wide receiver Lance Lenoir back from the practice squad. If you watched Returner Tavon Austin Saturday it's obvious he has a hitch in his giddy-up with a bad groin.

Cowboys have Amari Cooper, Rookie 3rd-round pick Michael Gallup, Tavon Austin & Noah Brown left. TA has only 8 catches & Brown has only 5 on the season. Gallup will see a ton of action opposite Cooper. UDFA starting TE Blake Jarwin should not be a worry for Rams strong safety John Johnson.

Finally, there is a good chance that DT Aaron Donald will line up across from rookie LG Connor Williams this Saturday night.:sneaky:

Woah, easy there partner. :)

I lived in CA for 32 years and have been in Texas for 15 years.

Trust me Texas is a Utopia, especially the Dallas area, compared to the cesspool of CA. Hate the Cowboys though, thats fine! :)

Texas isn't a bad place. Better than northern California in my experience (where I'm originally from).

No offense intended to either of you gentlemen but I lived in the LA area for 4 years (Alta Loma), Sacramento for 3 years and spent the worst 9 years of my life in TX (DFW, San Antonio and, yes the area known as Mecca to Texicans, Austin). Y'all can have it. I never got the fascination with TX. I did enjoy my overpriced and overcrowded stay in CA , however. CA was fun at least and the highest point of land isn't an overpass.

To each his own, but go Rams!!!

So ban me if you guys feel the need. I'll still enjoy the Rams.
Not going to ban you or anyone else in here my man. You're good...but do you understand WHY all the city and fanbase loyalty discussion is just plain NO GOOD and heavily moderated in here? Butts in the seats, ticket sales, who shows up, who the owner is, who fucked who etc...
200w.webp

What i care about is Rams fans not shitting on or trolling other Rams fans, whether they do it on purpose or not.

General statement here:
We're fans of a franchise that has moved around a bit and for that reason it sometimes breeds discussion that will inevitably "go there." So just don't go there people. We here at ROD don't care to hear what your beliefs or opinions are in terms of city fan loyalty.

Ok. As a 50 year Ram fan I take offense to your tone.

I watch from home because I'm on the other side of the country.

Those of us watching from home see what we see.

I want to call Kronke an ass crap lying freak but I don't because the rules don't allow it. And the rules shouldn't allow you to rag on Georgia because there are fans that don't feel the same way as you.

Personally I tried to be diplomatic about the LA fan support but im not going to sit by and be censored when you go off on a former owner and I can't voice my opinion about our current owner.

We have a totally different opinion on local fan support. I respect your opinion you should try and do the same for other opinions.

What I hear you say. Is your opinion is the truth and will silence opinions that are different.

So ban me if you guys feel the need. I'll still enjoy the Rams.

Sorry if I offended you, I just think its ridiculous of fans from out of town or out of state to bash the local fans because there are fans of the visiting team that either live in LA or are willing to travel to LA to see their team. It isnt the LA fans fault, they dont decide who can or cant attend the game. If the team had never been moved from LA there would be a stronger local fan base but nothing we can do about what was done in the past.

I as many other Rams fans am glad we have a site like ROD were Rams fans can share more than just our love of the Rams. And the issues found at many other fans sites are not found or tolerated here at ROD.

Fans watching from home will say it was half cowboy fans whether that is the case or not. I was at the vikings game and yes there were a lot of vikings fans but there were many more Rams fans. As @Mojo Ram pointed out there are many NFL fans that moved to LA and remained fans of their hometown team. LA had no team for 20 years because of that evil bitch that murdered her husband and became owner of the Rams, leading to many new NFL fans choosing other teams to follow.

Anyone that watches the game from home has no right talking trash about LA fans, regardless of where they live. If fans of visiting teams are willing to travel to watch their team play in LA, than any out of town LA Rams fan that didnt attend the game has no room to bash LA fans.

And I may not be a mod here at ROD but I agree that that crap has no place here.
There are some aspects of your post that aren't helping things bro. But i appreciate the thought.

Transplant town. That's just the way it is. Same crap here in Phoenix. Has nothing to do with the loyalty of the fanbase either. The residents who live there aren't from there and moved there from somewhere else (back East usually) and they brought their fan loyalty with them.

LA will never be Philly or Chicago or NY because no one retires to frigid weather. That's why those cities don't have stadiums where opposing teams travel well. Not sure why this concept is lost on some Rams fans.

My message: NO bagging on local Rams fans just because they share a town with Cowboys fans who moved there.
Sorry not buying that! LA needs to show up!
I don't care if Kroenke has to buy 50,000 tickets himself!
Casting call:
Rams fans that can

Sorry, this is weak and sad. There are how many cities right now that would die to be in this position!
I also think the transplant theory is a little off. People might not retire to the cold weather cities but they relocate for all sorts of reasons- jobs, family, school etc.
I lived in Green Bay for a number of years and Chicago which both have alot of transplants, especially Chicago!
It's not about cowboy fans showing up, it's about us showing up bigger!
Don't bag on Rams fans for wanting their team to be supported in their home stadium, not sure why that concept is lost in LA

Their QB is not good and Talib will shut down their only talented WR. Should be an easy win. But any given Sunday. Way more confident vs them then I was the Seahawks or Bears.

I wouldn't say an easy win, but I definitely like our chances more against the Cowpokes.

Also, I think Iggles have better chance upsetting Saints, giving us home championship game if we win next week. Saints had revenge on their minds against Dallas, now the Iggles will get revenge against them. And then there's that freaky lucky guy named Foles...

We're also lucky BECAUSE of Foles. His inability to play well for Fish ultimately led to our getting McVay. I'll take it.

It really is a dilemma here for me. I live maybe 15 miles from the colisseum. Have the opportunity of buying 2
Tickets for the game for about $700 (for ok seats). However I went to my first Rams game there 2 weeks ago and it was the worst fan experience I’ve ever had at any professional or collegiate sporting event I’ve ever been too. The traffic, the entrance into the stadium, the drunk rude casual fans who interrupt the view of the game . Uncomfortable seats. Poor accessibility. I love the Rams. More than the Lakers, more than the Dodgers. But I’d rather go to Lakers or Dodgers game any day over another Rams game at the Colisseum. I just don’t think live NFL games are the best seats anymore for die hard fans of their respective teams. Give me my 65” Sony, commentators, replays, comfy couch and access to food or drinks and restroom anytime I want. I hope when they move to Inglewood the experience will be better but for this playoff matchup I will pass. Not gonna spend $700 for a crappy experience in the playoffs sorry. That said I hope the guys who go are loud as hell when we are on D and know when to shut up when we are on O.

I respect that. That's way to much money to attend a game.

Playoffs be dammed at that price.

You don't have to like it but it's true. You do have to follow the board guidelines, however. Cheers.

I was looking into tickets and yeah, I'd be looking at $900 for tickets, food and fuel and thats if I drive down on gameday and drive home after the game. Not sure it is in the budget this month.

If we want to win a SB we have to beat good teams. All there is to it.
If we can limit the run and don't turn the ball over we should win.

Texas is a great state. I lived in California for 59 years and couldn't wait to get out of that state.

Man...with Cooper Kupp I don’t think it’d even be a contest. Damn.

I’m interested to see how we play ‘em. I like me some Gurley in the passing game in this one.

And it’s a game I think we can use Everett to our advantage...come out in 12 and move him around.
