Coyle jumped ship mid-season to become UCLA's DC and was absolutely instrumental in the upset win over Penn State . . . suggesting something might have been good about that 'Cuse coaching staff last year. Plus, "Wright was named an American Football Coaches Association’s 35-under-35 winner for 2024. "
On the other hand: " the 'Cuse finished 125th out of 134 FBS teams in total defense." Wright was available because he was unemployed.
