I'm not a Beane apologist because of his very jealous statement about the Rams years ago, but how much of the above is on the HC?

Snead with Fisher hit on most of the defense picks but failed on 90% plus on the offense picks. Under McVay the hit rate has dramatically increased. Same GM.

The key is the HC is better able to communicate precisely what he wants, does a great job putting the drafted players in those roles he envisioned (except for Tutu), and he has a staff who teaches and develops.

We need to wait for the next HC to say whether Beane is good or bad.

Von Miller being a bust is the GM's fault? Weren't most Ram fans either pissed as all hell at VM for leaving for the money or pissed at the Rams for not outbidding Buffalo?
Injuries have taken their toll on Bosa, sure. But he played the most games he's played since 2021.
Michael Hoecht was injured after playing 2 games.

Are their draft picks that bad?

I don't know. I've heard the talking heads say, why fire McDermott with all the injuries the Bills have had. That doesn't work for the GM. Why the HC instead? 8 straight years of playoff losses and despite the injuries, they were in position to go all the way without Mahomes, Lamar and Burrow in the postseason.

Remove Allen and they are a wildcard team. He is like Elway, bringing his teams close but he is just one player. They need to do better building around him.

He's like the Jake Cutler of headcoaches. Talented, but lacks leadership it would appear.

  • As others have said, start with the WR room... exceptionally weak (i.e., bottom 20% of the league). Adding B. Cooks was a solid add, but too late. Coleman has been a bitter disappointment. Shakir has over-achieved frankly. Diggs was as close as they've had to 'elite' in last 5 years, and he's been gone for 3 years?
  • TE room is strong (Knox, Kincaid).
  • RB (Cook) is excellent, but agree w/ others RE: depth behind him as a major issue.
  • OL, if unspectacular, is good enough.
  • D has been strong against the pass (solid LBs and back end), but they regularly get gashed by decent running teams.
Seems the GM/Personnel team should be held more accountable here.

Was just checking the turnover on head coaches.....

The last 4 years including recent firings (2023-2026) 30 coaching changes
The previous 4 years (2019-2022) 30 coaching changes
The previous 4 years (2015-2018) 28 changes

Whew!!!!! We talk about roster turnover????? That's equal to almost the entire NFL every 4 years.

I believe Kromer is retiring and that's gonna hurt them in the oline room.
