Looks like a certain "baggage handler".
To me it's both. The 2 year rule makes no sense and there should be no two bites at the apple. My problem isn't the 2 year rule it's that a team can get picks for a guy twice. You got picks once he got fired youre done with picks for that guy.
Yeah I think Saleh was a strong hire. Question is whether he'll pair well with that GM they hired from KC, and will that owner give him the time to build the team he wants.Great Hire Titans. Now Robert Saleh is far far away in Nashville down on music row. Mike McDaniel could join him there as OC.
So overatedSo long Saleh. I definitely wont miss him. He is one of the most irritating coaches IMO.
Personally I think the "rule" has served its purpose and should be eliminated all togetherTo me it's both. The 2 year rule makes no sense and there should be no two bites at the apple.
Yeah, but but but.... He's a "yinzer"!!!I just don't get the fascination with McCarthy. He wasn't great in his younger days. He hasn't aged well either. Would he fit well with a patient approach that gives the coach a long rope? Steeler fans are spoiled on the defensive side so I doubt they'll like this dude at HC. If they hire McCarthy it just feels like it's gonna end badly.
McDaniel might also join Robert Saleh in Nashville. Let's hope the Eagles keep getting turn down by upper echelon play callers.Reports are the Eagles were hot for Brian Daboll for their OC position until Buffalo's job opened up. So they pivoted to Mike McDaniel but he won't come up for an interview. Word is he prefers a HC position or OC in Tampa. Must like Florida!!!! Or he believes the static about Hurts.
That's what killed FisherMcDaniel might also join Robert Saleh in Nashville. Let's hope the Eagles keep getting turn down by upper echelon play callers.
Name me one OC he actually offered the job to or interviewed who turned him down after Brian Schottenheimer left? That's what killed Fisher
I live in Nashville and I am interested to hear local sports talk here on what local fan opinion is. To be fair, the Jets are a snake-bit organization. I wonder if he will have more success here.So overated
Was blessed with a crazy amount of Linebacker talent
Saw what he was about this year with average talent
Or he doesn't want to work for a douchefuck head coach.Reports are the Eagles were hot for Brian Daboll for their OC position until Buffalo's job opened up. So they pivoted to Mike McDaniel but he won't come up for an interview. Word is he prefers a HC position or OC in Tampa. Must like Florida!!!! Or he believes the static about Hurts.
Can't think of one. But I do recall Fish being told to eat shit when he wanted to interview Alex Van Pelt. Fudgepacker bastids.Name me one OC he actually offered the job to or interviewed who turned him down after Brian Schottenheimer left?
It was Fisher who killed Fisher. That's what killed Fisher
I think this year may have been his best year as a DC or HC.So overated
Was blessed with a crazy amount of Linebacker talent

I can't give you proof but, my understanding is no one good would come in for an interview. His rep of kept them away.Name me one OC he actually offered the job to or interviewed who turned him down after Brian Schottenheimer left?
Well here I am writing on the GM. That's a good thought. I never thought about that wayI'm not a Beane apologist because of his very jealous statement about the Rams years ago, but how much of the above is on the HC?
Snead with Fisher hit on most of the defense picks but failed on 90% plus on the offense picks. Under McVay the hit rate has dramatically increased. Same GM.
The key is the HC is better able to communicate precisely what he wants, does a great job putting the drafted players in those roles he envisioned (except for Tutu), and he has a staff who teaches and develops.
We need to wait for the next HC to say whether Beane is good or bad.
From Google AII can't give you proof but, my understanding is no one good would come in for an interview. His rep of kept them away.
