Episode 5 , Masters Of The Air

I say this every week

but , this was the best episode yet

I can't really put my finger on it , as all episodes have been kind of a downer

but this episode , right from the opening shot , had such a sense of dread to it

I'm sure the choice of music paid a big part , but I don't think this episode even had one frame , with one character , even with a smile on his face

youthful , boyish enthusiasm have all but disappeared in this episode

we did finally get a glimpse of our first fighter escorts p-47 for a second or two before they had to turn around

I thought this was such a great episode I had to see who the director was / were

I was kind of surprised , it was Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck , who will also be directing next weeks episode

when I say , surprised , because they were also the duo that directed Marvel's Captain Marvel movie back in 2019 , which , was , well , not one of my favorite Marvel movies...............lol

but they definitely did a great job here

9.5/10

Got sucked into Resident Alien on Netflix. I'm kinda pissed to find out a season 3 just started up on Syfy. Now I have to wait a week for an episode after doing the binge over a few days. Was hoping the shit concluded in 2 seasons lol.

I have watched two episodes of the Last Airbender and have to say it is not bad.

So much better than the movie but that's not saying a lot lol.

I have definitely enjoyed it so far.

Never saw the animated one tho so can't compare it to that.

I just finished episode 4 and I’m really enjoying the series. The only knock on it for me so far is it’s hard to keep track of all the different characters other than Buck and Bucky, and the one navigator. Oh and Meatball!

I had the same issue.
It’s tough to tell who is who with the flight head gear on.

I finished episode 6 last night, then started to watch episode 1 again.
I’m already enjoying the show more than the 1st time around….and I really enjoyed it the 1st time.

Episode 5 is amazing, BTW.

Just finished Part 5 of Masters. Great show. I also agree that it's kind of hard to keep track of characters except for Buck, Bucky, and Croz. Also continuing the latest season of For All Mankind. Saw the first four episodes before I canceled.

HALO

I made it through season 2 , episode 3

and for me , it was a struggle

but I think I'm done with the show

even from the beginning , I just didn't have any interest in the characters , or the story

and now , after 13 episodes , still nothing , so I think I'm moving on

Wife's been watching Murdoch Mysteries. It started in 2008 and is still going. I watched a few episodes with her. They bring in famous inventors and authors during the early 1900's. And a few infamous people. It can be interesting in how they used forensics back in those days. The main guy is a detective.
