first four episodes , pretty good

I really like the show so far

last weeks episode reminded me some of the original shows Balance of Terror episode with the Romulans

only this episode we got the Gorn , well , kinda anyways , we never actually see the Gorn , only their ships , kind of a hide and seek episode , submarine warfair

I'm guessing , they'll wait and do the big Gorn reveal in the season final , total curious how they update thier look

actually , all the episodes are familuar to Trek fans , but face it , after 50 years , 5 or 6 different series , and a 1.000+ episodes , coming up with something original , might not be in the cards anymore

but , this show really isn't trying to reinvent the wheel , but just have likable characters and good writing

these two clips contain spoilers , but , the episode has alot more scenes then just these two ,
cool smiley

Thumbs up on ST:SNW.
Discovery angst baby destroying the universe didn't work for me and ruined that series for me.
Robo-Picard and most of his crew didn't/don't work for me.
I thought Pike got the good lines during his run on Discovery. Dialogue seems more or less solid on SNW.
But, yeah, I'm on the side that thinks the character of La'an was at the very least inspired by the character Drummer from the Expanse.

I am very much enjoying this show! Really liked Discovery and enjoyed Picard as well but this may be my favorite of the bunch so far.

We Own This City on HBO. If you appreciated The Wire, you'll enjoy this show.

If you like heads/bodies exploding quite frequently, you will like The Boys

My wife and I started The IT Crowd and I have to say I have not laughed so much at a show in a long time.

Warning - it is extremely silly and some physical comedy (but not like Threes Company physical comedy)

Lol, yeah the first time I saw a trailer for SNW I said out loud "f***ing awesome they got the chick who played drummer to be in this" and then looked up the cast and was sad that it wasn't her. Amazing doppelganger though. Haven't watched SNW yet but it is next on my list to start watching. I loved reading that it goes back to traditional Trek story telling plus I've loved Anson Mount since Hell on Wheels so looking forward to it.

Ha this is great. I was traveling and rewatched the movie Bridesmaids on the plane. The male lead is the main guy from IT crowd, I was just telling my wife I forgot how fun IT crowd was to watch. Total aside from that but there is a movie coming out called Brian and Charles that, to me, has that similar British type comedy. I can't wait to watch it.

Loved it.
Brought back the vibe from season 1 IMO
Felt like it lost its way in 2 & 3 but 4 kicks ass!
I had a hard time with season 2, I will try 3 and then move on to 4 even though shows that do pt 2's of seasons often screw crews by doing that. I will give it a shot again

Really enjoying Vikings. Been taking a large bong toke and watching it on my computer with nice headphones and the sound way up. Glad I waited for it to accrue seasons because it really is something. :thumbsup1:

I tried this show the other night, really couldnt get in to it, maybe it's because I didnt know what to expect? I really like Kinnaman and since I think he actually made it more than 1 season, (see: Hanna, Altered Carbon) I was intrigued. Does the pace pick up or is it documentary-ish the whole time?
