as For the pick, sometimes on the run you make bad decisions, this aint nothing new,
Im convinced he was trying to dump off and throw it away. He Just didnt think anyone could get to that spot

As far as being instructed to get down, I dont care what he was told to do. You make that play no matter what anyone told you. Any baller knows that. You wanna be a hero or a zero? That play has to come from within you. If you lay down and not fight for your life, you are weak and not the man for the job. jmo

Before u blast me- I still think he’s the man for the job. We just need to fix a few things.

To be clear, I was meaning I think I understood getting down, especially with Bobby Wagner licking his chops waiting for the hit, but yeah he needed to get those extra two yards in that situation

no disagreements here

Lets be real here. Goff is going nowhere whether some like it or not. His contract makes it too prohibitive to do anything else. All we can do is hope he gets his head right. We've seen how bad he can be when his head isn't right. We also know how good he can be when his head is right. Goff is our quarterback for at least another year. We really don't have any other realistic options to compete.

Drafting a day 2 rookie and putting all you eggs in that basket gives you a lot less chance of winning than sticking with Goff. As far as a vet, we cannot outbid anyone for a better QB's services. What's left after that won't be any better option than what we have.

Un-frickin-likely

.25% happening

Probably not.

But, what if it did happen?

What if the offense thrives with the same players, some of which, many here are calling to be replaced?

McVay seems to have made Goff's reads and throws kinda simple for the most part.
What if a playmaker with better mobility can do better?

See that assertion a lot...I think McVay has done that for the Oline more than for Goff.

Boots and roll-outs avoid the A gap pressures that the Rams seem unable to handle...IMO.
