I've gone to Vegas every year for the SB since 1991. I meet two friends who live in different parts of the country. One is a Cardnials fan strictly wanting to bet on whoever he thinks will win him money, and he's betting on Seattle. The other is a Ram fan and reluctantly will bet on Seattle because he hates NE too much. Me, I hate both teams and want them both to lose. I don't want to upset the mojo in the room (we watch in one of out hotel rooms), but I kind of sorta have now shifted to want NE to win. I never bet on a team I don't like - I've done that before and it sucks if you lose after betting on and rooting for a team you don't even like. So what do I do? Secretly bet on NE and stay quiet? Bet only on the unders? Aarrrggh.

A couple of things will run in New England’s favor this weekend:

1. They have the #1 rush defense.

2. They will be able to generate pressure on Darnold and potentially create a turnover or two. Denver had one of the best o lines this year and NE got pressure. Something we couldn’t do consistently against Seattle.

3. Kubiak will be thinking ahead about coordinators and players to add for the Raiders. He could Shanahan his team.

So I’m with you, this game just feels like it will hit on the unders. Any given Sunday though, it’s why I’m not a betting man.

I am guessing New England sneeks up on everyone and wins this Super Bowl. Bet the Patriots, and like you said, don't tell anyone! (LOL)

I like the over on this game, quite a bit! Also a sneaky good bet is under 72 1/2 yards rushing for Kenneth Walker. New England has been stout against the run all year. The only time any RB went over 72 yards against them was when Milt Williams was hurt.....I think and if Im wrong maybe 1 or 2 backs maximum rushed for more than 72. I think this game will be wide open.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I think the SheCocks win, however, I simply cannot root for them in any regard. Thus I really cannot put money on them. I hate the pats, but not inter-divisional hatred like I feel the sheattle and sf. Therefore, I'll put money on the Pats with the points +4.5. I think they have the better QB which is vastly the most important player on the team. Also have a good D, although it hasn't been tested much at all.

Worst Superbowl I can remember watching as far as hatred.

I hate Seattle, but I think I hate Patriot fans even more. A real conundrum.

Yeah bc their schedule was the weakest I have seen. Had they played in the NFCW they are probably a 10-7 11-6 team.....

Patriots O Line hasnt been good the entire playoffs. I dont like this matchup for them at all. Maye hasnt been great this playoffs either. Hard for me to see that all falling into place for NE this Sunday. If I had to guess Sea Chickens defensive gsmeplan is shut down the run and contain Maye in the pocket and make him beat them throwing from the pocket.

I wouldn't be one to say. My company owns gaming bars. I'm what my boss would refer to as a very good gambler. He doesn't have to worry about me winning.:not:

Agree on your point, but kind of irrelevant at this point. 99 Rams had the easiest schedule by a Super Bowl winner and are seen as one of the greatest teams. Truth is only 9 Super Bowl winners faced a strength of schedule of over .500

As a matter of fact history would tell you easy schedule gives you a better chance of winning a Super Bowl.
