I prefer the draft as well. Again it feels to me like we never really get a chance to pick in this range where so many good wideouts come off the board. We just win too much. So while you're up in this range take advantage.
But this is also about what's the best strategy to make the best run for a title this year while Stafford has some time left. There's a lot of FA options who can help us on offense and set the stage for a big defensive draft:

Evans, who the Rams made a run for prior, and the dude's a pro who is serious about his craft, a future Hall of Famer, and he wants another ring. So if the Rams are interested in him and he hits the market it's a real possibility for us as he's the big threat Stafford could hammer teams with in four minute down the sideline and over the top.

Pierce, has been injured a fair amount going off memory, but the dude separates at all levels of the field and he's in his prime.

Doubs, knows the scheme so would be plug 'n play and cheaper than the other options as an outside the hashes threat for our pass game.

Two different Centers who would upgrade us day one. Linderbaum is gonna cost more and is more unlikely to hit FA, McGovern cheaper but a clear upgrade over Shelton.

Hall, offers pass game usage and big play ability. Would be a surprise given our RB quality but neither of our backs offer a third down pass threat to take it to the house.
There's also a couple Guards who offer strong pass pro, if the Rams are having second thoughts with Avila. But didn't list them because I don't think that's the case.
