MASSIVE explosion in Beirut. They're saying it's a fireworks warehouse.

They heard and felt the explosion 180 miles away from ground zero...

.

you'd think fucktards would learn from history but if you're dumb as shit you don't learn anything. this was the exact same thing that happened in china years ago. a port warehouse was storing ammonia nitrate and the fire set it off.

why are they storing that stuff in a populated area of the city?

Yeah, pretty sure it was fireworks.

kinda mirrors the fireworks factory explosion in China

I dunno, maybe it is some kind of attack, but it def started as a fire and then something exploded MORE than could be stored in a single truck.

The massive explosion in Waco in 2013 was only felt 30 miles away. This one was felt 6 times further way. That's an exponentially bigger blast.

Definitely some fireworks somehow involved. Perhaps a place that was known to have something volatile was targeted.

Apparently it was next to a grain warehouse... was reading on Twitter that it was a textbook white dust fire... grain silos are notorious for being explosive and combined with the ammonium nitrate, it was basically a fuel air bomb

Man, that looked almost like a nuke the way it spread out and caused the carnage.

Yeah, basically what McVeigh used in Oklahoma City but with a bunch more fuel due to the grain dust/flour dust.

Pretty scary stuff.

For that to be felt 180 MILES away... damn... There are volcanic explosions that don't reach that level...

I just hope that the injured can recover quickly and that there aren't too many dead. That's all you can hope for with an explosion like this.

My thoughts are with the people of Beirut.
