Good for him getting out of that dumpster fire of a team.

And the Lions didn't trade for him? How could Florio be wrong? A first for everything I guess?

Since 1990 only 2 QB's drafted #1 overall played for only the team that drafted them.

About Mayfield, does anyone really think they can judge his play off his time in freaking Cleveland?

Those people would have screwed up Rodgers, Marino, or any other QB.

just maybe this trade is a career saving move, just maybe...

What about the QB's drafted in 2020 and 2021?

Yeah only a year or two, but still...

Maybe the wording could be, "finished their careers by playing only for the team that drafted them"

The Panthers, huh? Better than Seattle, I suppose.

Obviously they have a chance to change that number. And yet guys like Stafford changed late in his career as did (non first overall picks) Wilson and Brady as well as Peyton Manning. Lawrence and Burrow very well could change things but neither team is above ruining a young QB. Add into that 2019's #1 pick Murray in Arizona.

He had a good supporting cast. Not as good as in LA, but enough that they should've won their division last year.

OBJ, Landry, Hooper and Njoku at TE
Hunt and Chubb to hand off too.

That's five skill position players who have been to a Pro Bowl before.

how much difference is there between Georgia and Stan?
the front office is a huge difference maker.

Remember the middle school offence that Gurley hated?
