To me, the more interesting part of the story was about Stafford, his back, his timeline, how the Rams might approach a rookie QB while retaining him for one more year. Sure, nothing people on here haven't speculated on but Robinson doesn't report hunches so it's nice to have what I would consider confirmation of things.
Also thought it was interesting they are telling a reporter they think Manning is - at this moment - the lone tier 1 QB next year. Pointing directionally to him while also leaving room for other QBs to possibly take that mantle as this season hasn't been played out.
Rams front office doesn't really seem to lie much but rather consistently tells the truth while leaving out a lot of additional info.
