Completely forgot about Tree.

Gaines showed great potential last year and outplayed Tru and JJ at some points during the season, but I don't know if he'd be starting over either of them right now.

He'd be starting over LaKnockout Joyner...and the 3rd CB is basically a starter on our defense. ;)

Difference is Foles wasn't concussed and had to leave the game.
Some players are tougher than others, and especially when it comes to concussions. Both plays deserved a penalty, but just because Teddy got hurt makes it more malicious? I completely disagree.

You guys are funny, your scary defense really is nothing, just not that good. The only thing you are good at is cheap shots, and that still couldn't wind the Game. MN defense is is just plain better than yours, even with our backups in. You lost. Deal with it.
You won by a FG in OT in your house.

You won by a field goal in your stadium with half our defense sitting. GG bro. Hang your hat on that victory, and pray you don't meet us in the playoffs.

This loss didn't hurt me until a moment ago when SNF flashed the NFC W standings and I realized the 9ers are only one game behind Rams for all the beat down they took this year. Freaking unbelievable. Today's loss is now starting to sting me now.

Visited our division rival boards, general media and Rams/Fisher/Williams are really taking a beating as a dirty team. I consider myself a fairly objective fan. I just don't see the maliciousness in that Bridgewater "hit." Sorry.
If Teddy gets right back up does anyone care?
I look at the Foles spearing @ Green Bay and to me that's far worse in terms of being dangerous and malicious....but Foles got right back up, miraculously. Just because a player winds up hurt doesn't make one penalty worse than another. Foles could have easily wound up with a ruptured everything and a broken neck in that hit...does that make the hit more malicious or dirty? No.

That's fine with me. We don't want them to have a top pick. Plus, I'm fine with them beating teams like Atlanta and Minnesota. Hell, convince them to steal a win against Seattle and Arizona. Those are the teams we're competing with for the playoffs.

I think the best part is the "deal with it" part. As if our fan-base, team, and coaches have been the ones whining after the game. Hell, he came on the Rams board to whine. I don't think we're the ones that have to deal with anything.

Bridgewater gets chipped, concussion...Cheap shot. Put Joyner, Fisher & Williams against the wall for the firing squad.

????

Yeah that's two guys leading with the head one goes at the knee one goes at the chest and that plays fine no calls for either of them to be suspended and no calls for investigations to Capers or McCarthy. But Joyner hits Teddy late and the world blows up.

Said his team played a clean game. Also said he knows there's a history with the Rams defensive coordinator and he would "leave it at that."

Yeah because the Rams are the only team to hit a qb going into a slide. They're the only ones who have injured a qb. Get out of here with that nonsense.

If he said that....he's a pussy.
And a bit of a liar.

I'm not trying to be smug, biased or ignorant either. I honestly think the Teddy incident is being blown completely out of proportion when you look around the league. That late "hit/roll" happens every week. It usually draws a flag. That's ok it should according to the rules. The difference is that Teddy suffered a concussion...therefor its an OUTRAGEOUS, blatant, dirty play?

Overreaction.

The Horns have a tie breaker edge on every divisional opponent at the moment, and they will host the divisional leader Cardinals at the Dome when they meet a few weeks from now. It would be nice to have The Mighty One and Chris Long ready for the Cards game. We need to beat the snot outa the Cards every single time from now on if only to shut Arians' pie hole. Zimmer is acting Arianesque enough for me to want the Rams to face his damn Vikes again in Wildcard Weekend.

You need to go back and watch it again, he was already nearly on the ground when Joyner launched himself. Without question that will get a flag every time even without the shot to his head. It was late.

I disagree. Bridgewater saw him coming and waited as long as possible to make the slide. He got his needed yards. It was foolish to push it when you see a guy going in for the tackle. It makes me think he was hoping for a penalty and it backfired on him. Either way, if McLeod intentionally hit him he would have hit him straight on with a helmet to helmet.

lol so hypocritical

About what? Being angry over Zimmers comments that could lead to referees going back to throwing flags on th Rams if they breath rong again? That stuff finally stopped this year. I don't want it back, but public outcry seems to count when it comes to the Rams are dirty talk.

Your name fits you well. You come here and pretend to be a a level headed poster who sees things differently than the average homer, you pretend to be a guy who loves to talk football and actually has some real knowledge about the game. Instead you are just like the rest of the whiny Vikings fanbase, fake bandwagon know nothings. All stalkers eventually show their true colors.

Hate to say it, but Bridgewater came off soft to me. If that Joyner hit was all it takes to knock a guy out cold, maybe you're playing the wrong game.

Meanwhile Foles is taking hits like this and keeps on chugging. Kendricks catches that TD and Tavon catches that wide open pass with the defender falling down, probably a TD, and the Rams are maybe 6-2 and the entire conversation surrounding Foles and the Rams is a lot different right now. Sadly that's not how it happened, and today's loss in particular was like a punch to the gut for me. Guess I just gotta do my best Foles impression and keep on chugging.
