Hopefully he is okay. But Dedic looked very good in relief once he settled did, just as he did earlier in the year. Hopefully Doctson can come back. He's a HUGE piece. But assumedly Adams and Havenstein will be good to go for the playoffs. If we get some bodies back in the secondary too (Lake, Spoon, McCreary), and it seems like we should, we'll actually be in a pretty good spot health-wise come playoff time, with or without Doctson, as every team has injuries by this point in the season. Assuming we don't lose more players! (fingers crossed). Higbee should be back too. I am not under playing Docton's importance but every team we face will be missing a key contributor too, it's next man up, if he is our only notable injury, that's not bad. Life in the NFL.

We very rarely here injury updates right away even more so on road games.

Try x.com you can search there for updates.

We are actually looking in to be in a great spot heading into the playoffs health wise. We will have Adams, Havenstein, Lake, Spoon and Higbee all back by then. This defense clearly fell off once Lake got hurt. So we should be back up to our standards come playoff time.

To me this is the most important thing from the game. Is Dotson able to play next week. Even if we had won losing Dotson is huge for the playoffs. Can Hav or Warren slide into RG. We lose a lot in the run game without Dotson. Win or lose to the hawks Dotson going out is the story here.

Dedich looked good in relief to me! Against a very stout opposing defensive line too. I suspect they will keep him at RG rather than trying to kick Hav or Warren inside.

McLendon apparently has the ability to play guard, some thought he might have to play that in the NFL when he was coming out of college, due to his somewhat smaller size for RT.

I don't have a definitive answer but I'd expect him to be out until the play offs, at the earliest. These injuries are piling up and we're losing games - two things you don't want happening and yet they're happening at once.

Is it possible that the Defense peaked earlier in the season? They have been on a downward trajectory since the Buccaneers game. I do feel like the absence of Lake obviously hasnt helped matters. I have lost faith in Shula as of late. Do you think they will get back on track or are these Rams going to have to score 35 to win.

Dotson, his name is Dotson. :cheers2:

I guess when Havenstein is ready McClendon shifts inside to G?
I like Dedich as a depth guy and he can run block but he is a liability in pass pro.
The thing is, just because of physical size, movement and strength, the drop off in the run game from Dotson to Dedich is large as well.
Im sure Dotson is likely done for the year in a real way.
Brutal loss.

Also.....for a defensive backfield that is vulnerable.....why is Witherspoon not dressing for games.
Hes a smart, veteran player and the Rams can certainly use some help....obviously, none of us are in the meetings, the training room or practice, but, some of the decisions seem strange from the outside.

Wow! Why do you say this???
An ankle on a guy who checks in at 350 lbs (they never update the players weight) is going to be a slow heal.
Maybe they were being overly caughtious but he was in a air cast and on crutches last night.
Now that they likely won't have a bye week two weeks to get ready.....doubt it.

I'm more curious as to why no Witherspoon. Yea, he didnt look to good against AZ, but it's his first game back, he needs in game reps. Also what happened to McCreary?? His injury didnt seem season ending unless I missed something.

Yeah, that is a lot of weight. We won`t need him for the first round of the playoffs anyway. Let`s hope he`s back by the second!

Dedich didn't really miss a beat. Lets not forget that Dotson hasn't been stellar in passpro either so I don't think the dropoff is much if anything at with him slipping into RG. Besides offensive Line isn't the issue with the Rams right now. Not even close.

Honestly, they were probably gonna put a boot on it and give him crutches anyway. Bad idea to try and walk on it. He's a tough guy. Playoffs are a month away. We'll see how he feels then.

that's what I noticed also. the second half of the Tampa game they looked pedestrian and haven't been dominate since. I really thought this was going to be a feared defensive team that could keep points off the board. to many 30 plus games. so, there you go. Denver might win it all with that defense.

The Witherspoon thing almost seems like a TuTu -like situation. A matter of personnel and calculation how active players are working and not wanting to disrupt the flow
