What a bubble in which that man child lived. He can catch a football. For that he has been coddled since elementary school. Coddled so much so he believed the rules of society were not meant for him. After all he can catch a football.

So, AB's deal for this season with the Pats was $15,000,000, with a $9,000,000 signing bonus.

Does anyone know how it works when a player gets released like this, as to how much money AB will get to keep out of the $15,000,000? Will he have to return part or all of his $9,000,000 signing bonus to the Pats?

Gracias in advance!
Actually it was 10.5 million and 4.5 was signing bonus. Not sure how much he will get to keep.

Mort is live from Massachusetts at the Asian Steam & Cream waiting for Bobby Kraft to come out and give a statement.

Pun intended.

Well, if you wanna get technical, here's the actual deal:

#Patriots deal with Antonio Brown: $1M fully guaranteed base, $9M signing bonus ($5M now, $4M later), $500K in 46-man roster bonuses & NLTBE incentives of $1.5M for each of these -- 105 catches, 1,298 yds, 16 TDs. Total: $15M. Plus a $20M option that’s guaranteed if picked up

Good fucking riddance. He's more likely to go to prison than catch on with another team.

That's why I love Sean McVay as a coach and a person. He gets his entire team to buy in. Nobody like Brown on his team.

The Patriots will have every right to go after the bonuses he's already been paid. Good luck collecting from him though. If he's done in the NFL, he'll probably be broke before they ever see a dime.

I'm sure you can pick up Baker Mayfield off the waiver wire.

I have Mayfield and played Brees last week over him.

Somehow Wilson was available so I am starting him this week over Mayfield. I'm in an 8 team league with friends so there are a lot of players on the wire.
