The colts are closer than the Broncos.
But, who knows?

I have a bunch of friends that are Cowboys fans.1995
.
the contract the colts gave luck will go down as one of the worst nfl contracts of all time.
2016 - was hurt all year and played as a shell of himself
2017 - didn't play at all
2018 - his only productive season
2019 - retired
2020 - assuming still retired
$75 million for one season of solid playing time. bargain.

I was looking on the Colts fan forum. It is disturbing if I say reading all the comments was kind of fun? It's a train wreck over there

He retired 5 months late. I totally get the sentiment of applauding him for mulling over the injuries, family life and making a life decision over football.I've never understood people who slam athletes that retire early.

You can't do what he did when he did it. You've got to have some semblance of responsibility and doing the right thing at the right time when you decide to quit or step away from anything (unless he was recently told his shoulder would fall off if he took another hit).
Not quite the same analogy here due to age, but what if Whitworth retired today? "What a dick. Thanks Whit."
I've got no problem with a guy retiring at 24 or 30 or whatever age. This timing hung his team and teammates out to dry.
It's sort of like calling out sick 5 minutes before your shift.
